I had already trained the Triton spell by visiting Halston Balestrom at level 42 and training the spell through the UI; however, I waited a bit to get around to finishing up the "Cleaning Up a Mess" and "Before the Storm" quests. I even upgraded my Triton. Either way, I still "learned" Triton again through Halston. Now I have two different Tritons. One upgraded and one original

Probably a visual thing, quitting out and or relogging will probably fix it, it’s intended to be able to learn it through the teacher or learn it through the spell quest though - that’s mainly for people who aren’t storm to be able to learn it

I think this needs to be fixed because I'm stuck doing the storm lord acquisition quests even though I already have storm lord

its a new thing where you can learn spells without doing the spell quest so i belive like 7 pip aoes for example quest at 48 or wait 10 lvls and at 52 u can train it without soing the quest

its not a visual bug, this bug occurs if you tier up any spell then relearn the base spell from quests. As tiered up spells are effectively “different” spells than any other tier
This bug was fixed at one point IIRC but IG like all good bugs, it’s back again

I believe if they are both at the same tier when you go through a loading zone it deletes 1 of them, but I could be wrong. It’s a pretty fun and nearly harmless bug though.
The only harm is if you somehow have too many spells trained it will increase load times between areas

Lol try it in pvp see if u have both types in your main deck only pack triton that'll be funny tbh
