#A take on the Shift spells

I'm going to immediately veto the shift thornpaw, as the 10% spear was the only reason I used it since balance spear is not a trainable spell
veto means reject, right?
yeah
wait, isn't balance spear on Lambent Fire's crafted gear?
on gear maybe, but not a trainable spell
I used shift thornpaw through the entirety of 3rd and most of 4th arc
Replace the standard blade with a pierce one and then it’s perfect
-# well at least thornpaw would be
I have a feeling something like this is coming in the fall update
update that gives the spells Moon DPP
I like the inclusion of the school pips, but these seem unbalanced/useless tbh
Like 4/7 of these seem to counter healing
Ice Balance, and Life's were made worse than their current form
And Death's was just made stronger
Also can't wait to deal 7 moon damage each round for 5 rounds
Oh yeah, by changing the damage type, damage is no longer boosted by school damage, only universal
I may take this one out and put it somewhere else, currently undecided on that, but it's not dealing 35 over 3 or 5 rounds, it's dealing 35 PER round for 3 to 5 rounds.
they already did that. You didn't think Hydra dealt damage based on your fire, ice, and storm damage stats, right?
It uses Balance, since it's a balance spell
You're having a moon spell deal moon damage
ok, the purpose of that is to make them better at being "debuff removal" spells, like how wand hits are?
I'm fairly certain that no matter what school of damage that a spell has, the damage is only initially boosted by the school of the spell itself.
Like with Hydra being boosted by the balance damage stat. Another example is empower, which does moon damage, but is boosted by the death damage stat
