so not sure if this is wrong or intended but i was given a blade when i casted death krok pound of flesh (125 to self for 250 to enemy) and the blade boosted the self hit (250 to self) and no effect on the outgoing hit (250 to enemy). if that is intended that's just .... crazy. your friend can kill you when they think they're helping.
#Beastmoon self dmg

I think it is intended. Same with sacrifice and empower spells.
ki specifically changed both of those to moon dmg to reduce the self damage from your own death blades. and both of those output something that is not damage. if you universal blade hydra is the damage only added to the first hit or spread across all the hits?
I think this occurs if you are defeated by the initial self hit
If you survive the first hit it should apply the blade to the enemy hit
then certainly a bug. right?
Yeah, it's a bit of a weird consequence of the order of operations
IMHO the blade should ONLY apply to outgoing dmg. the spell was 'balanced' for pip-dmg based on that incoming dmg value already. adding a blade to the incoming doesn't make sense. an X pip spell + Y blade does Z damage. another way to think of it is the self dmg is like a diff form of a blade, ill take x dmg myself to boost the out going by y.
