#Pets and Emote Menu Issues

With the introduction of the Emote Menu, there are a few issues with how it interacts with pets.

  • Bringing up the Emote Menu hides your pet. This means that you can't dance or emote alongside your pet anymore, which used to be possible and they would dance with you.
  • If you bring up the Emote Menu, and then try to play as your Pet, your Pet remains hidden so you are walking around as an invisible Pet. Cancelling playing as your Pet makes it visible again.
  • While playing as your Pet, pressing the 'Dance' button in the Pet menu in the lower left doesn't do anything. You also can't bring up the Emote Menu while playing as a Pet, so there is no way to make a Pet dance anymore.

I wrote up a bug - programmer is looking into it

#

Sad it wasn’t reported in TR 😔

#

(If it was it wasn’t seen by me or him)

We also have some UI changes coming - we’ll see about naming Victory Dances to “Equipped Victory Dances” and seeing when we can get a help pages made.

I was not able to access the emote menu inside my massive fantasy palace, inside or out. As soon as I left to the bazaar, I was able to. I was also not able to use the dance floor in my house

My friend was also not able to access the wheel in the house. When I left the house and came back, I was able to get the wheel to work outside

I just emailed them about this and they directed me to the discord. I'm so happy other people are bringing it up!!! I love dancing with my pet or dancing as my pet. I really hope they fix this soon 🥺
