Anyone have experience with publishing a research paper? The topic is Hyperparameter optimization in deep learning models for link prediction in a PPI network. I am currently writing it and just finished with the code, however I do not know the process of publishing it. Any tips or suggestions are welcome! Here is a link if anyone wants to check it out.

contact your university's publishing department. they are often involved in research and publishing, so I suppose they know how to publish stuff
You can submit it to specific journals, conferences, and else.
They will require certain informations from you, you can take it from there.
Usually, people submitting papers would also do it with the lab they are in for specific university, however, if not, you can submit it as an independent researcher.
You can ask more from university's specialists or older researchers, specifically from the area and topic that you are interested in, so that they can give you the more favourable informations of what I said above in choice.
Btw, if you know latex, beware of their requirement and the template that they want you to code the document in. Better familiarize with it beforehand. For example, journal like TMLR or JMLR has their own manuscript req.
