Does anyone have knowledge on what the "best" (as in, have well known/acknowledged in those fields) countries are to go study abroad/intern in? My school has a summer international internship program that I want to apply to next year, where they cover the costs for the flight and help you find an internship in a country of your choosing. I am not exactly sure what I want to do when I graduate or what country to go to, but I was thinking something SWE/data related career. If anyone has also done a study abroad internship, plan to, etc. I would appreciate any advice!

what country are you currently studying in?
in the us :O
hm
i would believe anywhere in europe would land you a pretty solid job
probably in the scandinavians
i think Canada have good opportunities; in europe pretty much everywhere, as jei said. obviously Scandinavians countries like Denmark, Sweden, etc are “better” but i personally would go to the Netherlands… for better weather maybe France
(btw there are countries that less people speak English like France, Spain, Italy, but in the IT field I think pretty much everyone knows english)
(I’m from Portugal. The weather is great, the food is amazing, everyone speaks English, but the employment is trash so don’t come here)
(Also don’t go to Ireland, the housing prices are crazy)
If you’re thinking about going to a place with amazing weather, Brazil is very nice! Just choose a less violent place like Curitiba; anything that isn’t São Paulo or Rio de Janeiro (brazilian public universities “federal” are very good tho)
dont come to canada if u dont mind having crazily high cost of living (i live in canada i can attest to this. we're literally dying from stupidly high rent)
sounds like hell! here in Portugal the cost of living is also increasing like crazy, they made a research about it and they said that people can’t leave their parents house until 34 years old and most of them will leave because they’ll share the costs with a partner 😩
yeah :,) rent here (in the bigger cities at least) is around 2k euro
doesnt include stuff like groceries, tuition, etc
