This is neat though, I can get behind it
I figured it would be strong, I was thinking about maybe changing it to only the final hand of the round or just an extra +$2 for every gold card
Something like
"Each gold card held in hand gives $5 instead of $3."
I was sort of going for like an opposite to golden ticket but don't want to make it seem that obvious

I am a checkered deck enjoyer but there are several other jokers that give similar benefits that are quite easy to achieve with checkered deck so I figured it was fine

I was thinking 75, 100 seemed a bit excessive
But I figured it was better to lowball it since it's a common

Really? I mean I guess it's a pretty hard hand to get consistently but that still seems like a bit much

More likely hack and wee and other similar cards
hack and wee would lean more four/five of a kind than straights
Wee maybe but you're still getting 4 triggers off of hack with countdown
Plus you could take a scholar or something to buff the aces
