My brother plays Balatro on his Steam Deck LCD and completed five different unseeded decks on his save. Unfortunately, the challenge decks screen shows that 5/5 decks have been completed without displaying the challenge decks themselves.
I had used the following guide to download mods: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3178949415 . Using this guide, I had downloaded the following mod: https://gamebanana.com/mods/589198
I asked this discord server for help with this issue and suggestions for how to fix it starting with the following message in #🎙・server-chat: #🎙・server-chat message . The conversation later moved to #🃏・off-topic with the following message: #🃏・off-topic message
Following the suggestions I was given, I began by verifying file integrity and closing the game and restarting. I had also tried relaunching the game using default launch settings instead of the custom settings found in the steam deck modding tutorial linked above. A suggestion from @plain basalt led to me to uninstall and reinstall Balatro, which unfortunately restarted my brother's progress since I did not have his data backed up to steam cloud or anywhere else for that matter.
That bug and the subsequent reinstall and loss of occured four days ago, and I figured if he beat five decks again, it would work. However, he just beat five decks again today and experienced the same issue.
