Selling a negative Cardboard Cutout on its last charge triggered its effect properly, but resulted in the game getting unresponsive. Had to shut the game off from its steam page.

Possibly something to do with the zero-cost of the swapped jokers being applied through an effect from a joker that's no longer in your possession? I'm assuming the swap happens instantaneously upon selling a joker while the cost reductions happens after?

I've suggested this joker idea in All in Jest as well, but no indication on there being any interest for it, so trying here:

Slot machine joker
If hand played is a Three of a Kind with 1 or more non-scoring cards; scramble (randomize rank / suit + existing modifiers (swaps enhancements, seals and editions for a modifier of the same category)) on all non-scoring cards.

PS: I'm not particularly attached to the artwork, so feel free to modify as you see fit if you decide to make this one

I think the art is good, but the effect is a bit too complicated imo

I don't think there needs to be any element of 'non-scoring cards' to it when there's already the stringent requirement of three of a kind

kind of makes it a bit overcomplicated

I like the idea, it could be more like playing a 3oak has a chance to give enhancements, editions or seals to held in hand cards, the art is pretty cool anyways

The original concept for the slot machine joker had it scramble only the scored cards as long as the hand played was a 'Three of a Kind'
Had hidden mechanics of adding a random enhancement to a random scoring unenhanced card if scored cards were of the same suit, and adding an edition and / or seal to a random / all scoring cards if the three scoring cards were all 7's and / or all of the same suit. (The hint to this mechanic would be in the artwork. All 7's)
I feel that could be balanced given the fact you can't play it reliably as the cards randomize.
You either use the slot machine to fix your deck towards a certain rank / suit, or you use it to hunt for the enhancements / seals / editions you want.
I think this one would be even more complicated though. Maybe better to scrap the hidden mechanic.

The problem with having the swap affect scored cards is how to handle glass cards or cards that can break when played.
When should the cards get swapped? Before or after scoring? If they swap before, you risk changing into a glass card and break it.
If they swap after, you may not get a good look at what the new cards are before they're shuffled off-screen.

Sorry for the bad footage, I play on Steam Deck, so filming and photographing with mobile is the only option I have.

Had this crash which I assume is related to a combination of Plastic Glove and All in Jest's 'The Two Ways' tarot. Plastic glove even gave thumbs down when I used it on a 4 instead of 10 before crashing, which was a surprise. I already had 6 5's in the deck, so the action would not have increased my hand size.

I only got a picture of the first page of the crash. Ended up using another tarot just to check if the bug was exclusive to The Two Ways. It was.

Stained joker needs a huge nerf. It's currently blueprint/brainstorm compatible, meaning if you get a non-eternal negative and any copy joker, you get infinite negative jokers.
