What is the point missing scaling if you're just going to get something rental you can't use, or a perishable you can't rely on?

Skipping a blind misses a wealth of scaling, so there needs to be something to balance the scales even a little.

I hate perishable with my soul.
I had got 4-6 perishable blueprints/brainstorms on gold stake. It's the one of the only reason why I stop playing for a while. I want it dead, underground, never to be seen again. Blue stake is better.
