I lowkey had a thought but upon thinking a second time I realized I wasn’t cooking

That was one thought and I was like “oh it helps make 5 card hands more consistent in that they don’t accidentally draw gold cards too early which holding creates essentially a constraint on hand size”.
…But then I realized if you can see the bottom of your deck you would probably be able to pull of your hands and gold regardless
