I recognize that not all jokers are meant to wild guys that lead the game off into the sunset. With this scaling the joker would cap at 4.25 ( 1 + 0.25 for each hand(13) ). Increasing the scaling or adding another mechanic would make this an interesting choice.

This gives me a new idea actually, what about a joker that gives you 0.15/0.2× mult for every unique hand type played this run?
maxes out at 3.4
might need some adjustments
maybe something that makes it more rewarding for playing a straight flush or a secret hand for the first time apposed to playing a toak for the first time
