For endless that HAS insane RNG (for oa6 + good retriggers) sure you can make a case

This should just give you 2-3 $ guaranteed. Otherwise it is the same expected payout as rough gem but with less consistency and a harder trigger. Case in point, ancient joker vs bloodstone, ancient joker has the same trigger as this while bloodstone has an adjacent trigger to rough gem. Ancient joker thus has double the expected value to counteract its difficult trigger.
