#Shoplifter (uncommon/rare)

This is kinda useless with the price increase, not everything needs a downside
To put it in perspective, Chaos the Clown is at least $5 of value for free on a common
thanks for feedback 👍
If this includes vouchers I’m down for this idea
this is a maximum of around like $34 per blind if you get Really Lucky
But generally it might only be used to get free boosters and voucher
You're saving around 7 per blind on average
what about vouchers
Honestly I don't think it would be that broken if you allowed it on s voucher
How $34??
10 dor voucher
10 for blueprknt
So maximally 30
But more realisticly, 26
10 for voucher + 8x2 high joker / pack
Since it's not money but réduction I think its good this way
Negitve and polychrome (and foil and the +10 multi one) jokers cost more in shop so if you find a negative blueprint and a negative brainstorm it's worth more
Ah yes my bad for not thinking about this streamer's luck moment
I mean if you're doing best case then
What's the right one
I prefer 🖕
natural editions boost prices right
no? lol?
Yeah but not by +$24
This is at most like $15 a round if you find negative blueprint (which it won’t be)
my bad . 🕊️
I feel like it should be like a chance thing
Etc: 1/5 chance to make the whole starting shop free
1/10 chance to double all prices
Something like that maybe?
Cause I mean it’s shoplifting there has to be consequences
that is awful 😭
thematically good but
rng
I’m not saying to use my Rng rates, I was just making an example
what if we added +$1 to all items/packs/vouchers in shops for every free purchase?
why
It's not OP
at all
in the scenario where the last 2 shops contain exactly what you want
it's good
but on average, either you spend all your money on rerolls
either you just buy
Voucher => pack => pack
which is like 22 money
for things you probably don't need that much
like this joker looks like it gives you a lot of money
but actually it doesn't give you interest
and it's not money which you can spend wherever
really I love this concept as is
Yea this doesn’t need an arbitrary downside
Cause most of the time it is just one free pack each shop, which is good, but nothing crazy
It might be slightly better then the average uncommon econ
Outside of not creating money for interest purposes, it seems top tier
On par or better then matador basically always, but who balances around Matador lol
Cloud 9 is 4 base dollars and needs you to add 9s that you probably dont want to add
Rocket takes several antes to scale up to the same rate of 7 average, and Satellite takes a lot of planets to get there
So long as theres a mega arcana, spectral, or celestial to get for free its 8 dollars assuming there isnt a rare joker or something you want
Thats a pretty decent take, but strength isnt always there when you need it
And in arcana packs, you might not even get any 8s offered to take advantage
its pretty fair in comparason to astronimar too
But astronomer can only ever give planets
In the shop that's a few bucks you can get back from selling them, and maybe a celestial pack
Some of that value goes into levelling up valuable hands (or constellation mult) but I feel like it doesn't average a value of 7
I only ever take it if I'm doing something with planets
Planets can be more valuable then random stuff
But the planets themselves are random
Outside of telescope, mega packs, and owning constellation, it's value is very inconsistent because you'll be better off selling them then using them
Spam using them can also mess up any Fools you find which can be turned into temperance or deckfixing
And for mega packs, you can also use shoplifter to get a mega celestial pack for free anyways
Mega packs are probably the best use of shoplifter unless a rare shows up
Or a negative or something unforeseen
If nothing good shows up and there's no negatives, you still get 4 dollars worth on a standard pack. Which is about what id expect an astronomer to give me value wise
Except instead of only celestial packs, it's in celestial tarot and spectral
And playing card packs but I'd value those less then celestial packs usually
But tarot and spectral are more valuable usually
even then
megapacks are random too
Once again, so are planets
Assuming the very likely scenario of not getting 2 standard packs, you get at minimum one free pack per round, so 4 dollars
Astronomer requires specifically celestials to appear to get major value
And the planets don't show up enough and are only worth 1 dollar as sell value, so except for the one of like 9 planets that can appear that you'll actually care about astronomer is very inconsistent on money generation
That's why I said this was good
Astronomer doesnt directly over power it
More limited for more powerful effect
If you're not leveling a specific hand and using multiple astronomer gives you a little value every time
I only ever find myself using multiple when it's early, but then I'm not spending 8 dollars on an Econ joker that provides very very little direct money
