Create one in the variables menu from the little bar at the bottom, then you can just do anything with it basically
would variables be able to make negative copies of destroyed cards or is that too niche

Having multiple rules of the same trigger will only activate the first one where the condition passes

else, if second trigger condition:

Basically, only one will activate each time
because the other 2 were priority
since they had a condition
Yours doesnt work because the first rule has no condition and therefore always blocks the others
and it always either does or doesnt contain full house
is it usually this confusing at first
so putting "applying Xmult" on rule 2 and 4 is how to apply it
depends on your knowledge of logic in coding

Wild cards only count as a single suit per suit check, so when flower pot checks the suit of a wild card it will only fulfill 1 suit requirement

I've been wanting to make a Solitaire themed joker, where going from A to K,Q,J, 10 and so on will give +1 Mult. The first variable is the rank, which decrements each time it meets the condition. The second is the mult scale value, which increments each time it meets the condition. And the last one actually adds the +mult based on the second variable. But I can't even play an ace without the game crashing.

not easily (i dont think), smods provides a nice hook to use specifically for this combined effect that i used. i thought i would have to implement a lot of these on their own, but as im finding out, smods provides nice hooks for them all
im unstoppable (this one was easy because the hook that smods provides does not have any parameters it just returns true)

What jokers are left?
i just added showman, the remaining ones left are smeared joker and pareidolia. these ones will have their own unique effects (combine ranks, combine suits). these will be the hardest
i rewrote the way joker forge handles hooks yesterday and it is going a lot better than i thought it was, i am getting no trouble with these but i thought i would, thats why i overestimated the amount of work it took to finish off the remaining ones
how does combine ranks even work, because that doesnt really sound like pareidolia on the surface
Combine rank groups into face
you have a source rank/s and a target rank. it will treat the source rank like the target rank
so for pareidolia it would be 'all' for the source rank, and 'face cards' for the target rank
but i want it general enough so that you can make jokers that have for example 'all 6s count as 9s' and stuff
or 'queens and jacks count as kings'
that just sounds more like the X cards are considered Y effect, combine kinda implies that it makes multiple ranks count as the same rank just like how smeared works with suits

I probably am asking for a lot considering you like are almost done with the vanilla jokers but will there be some stuff to mess around with blind sizes? Trying to make a joker that effects blind size depending on its score
it is on the checklist of effects 'edit blind requirements' but i havent looked too much into the implementation of it yet
would be cool to add though
and I imagine there's probably already an effect for a hiker-like ability

Joker Forge should have an option to check if it's a hand specifically or if it contains said hand, both are different and the recreated Spare Trousers is wrong. First pic is the og joker poker hand check and second is JF
Also by reading JF Spare Trousers code, it won't give mult if you score a Two Pair lmao
I checked the first joker and 8 Ball doesn't actually have the proba check and Abstract has a miscolored deck and the joker count system is very finicky

That option does exist, i think its just that not all the vanilla jokers have been changed to use it

I might just make it a new panel on the rule builder like the other panels and you can just open it and see the lua or close it if it's taking up too much space lol
the bottom panel with variables and stuff could be a menu at the bottom that you can open instead of always being there

I have an idea for an early version of decks
Just select playing cards, jokers, vouchers, consumables, and then your deck is done
Game rules will be added over time

yeah, this is the idea in my head. you just see all the jokers and consumables whatnot and you can click them to enable/disable them. then you can also change your starting deck and stuff
the end goal is to have basically everything replicable from vanilla on the site
i feel like jokers and decks do a lot of the same stuff
only exception being erratic

The only real LUA I can do is A: basic Roblox Studio, and B: a modded stat item in TBOI

maybe not custom SFX but things like shaking when a joker can be activated, having a preset list of animations, etc. is planned

I want to make a fake legendary that gives you a really bad joker
but the really bad joker spawns as eternal and destroys itself after 3 rounds

wouldnt you also need to increase joker slots by 1 temporarily in case you have a full set
