#Untitled Joker

Ehhh, idk this just seems like free money the next time you open a pack
Well is that not just losing money
What rarity
I'm not sure
Open a pack for 4$. Sell every card you don't want (usually smth like 4-5, up to 8 cards]
Yeah but a pack only gives 1-2 cards
It might be good as common just because of the sell effect
And then you make your money back AT MININUM and thinned multiple Hanged Men worth of cards
No i meant the playing cards
Yes but if you play a round and discard a bunch, you may be getting a 0.5x mult
Maybe there should be a cap on the amount of cards sold
The ones you draw when you open a Tarot or Spectral pack
So you can’t just instantly make a perfect deck for your build
Just sell it after opening a few packs
This makes money, deck thins, and can have its downside entirely mitigated if you just don't sell it midblind
(The 0.5x and the destroy another Joker both don't matter much if you open two tarot packs, sell all your playing cards, then sell Greedy.)
You can only sell mid blind
It's not like reordering where you can sell while picking your tarot
Id fw it if it TOOK money instead of giving
You can sell at any point???
Well if you thin too much then you may just lose the run entirely
With all other jokers atleast, selling is available at all times
The joker yes, not the standard cards
Accounted for that, i mentioned how you usually want 2-3 cards to be kept, and you'll only sell 4-5, maybe 6
Then that's just a small profit
It's a versatile joker
But why wouldn't you be able to, they're visibly there and they work just like how mid-blind
The point I'm trying to make is that
Its deckfixing is too good, the 1$ earning just makes it even better, and the downsides can be easily avoides
I think this would be better if it cost 2$ per removed card
If destroying a random joker isn't a risk then you kinda don't have good jokers or you don't have any
"You may now sell Playing Cards for -2$. Decrease this jokers sell value by -1$ per removed card, with no limit"
Sell mid-shop
Buy a new joker
Should be relatively easy to do considering you can see 8+ cards per pack, sell 4-5 to break even ( if youre not already selling all the playing cards,) then sell this
Well it's kinda a really rare chance to get a singular joker
It's an easily breakable idea, even if it's a definitely cool/fun one
Is it really
ya
Even if you have multiple, that downside doesn't matter in shop since this propels your econ and deckfixing so much
I lowk forgot
Well we can find a new name I guess
+3 mult when a diamond is scored
The unused sins are Pride, Sloth and Envy(?)
What if the 0.5x mult was permanent
Yeah these are the unused sins
i think this is too broken imo
Literally free and infinite deck thinning with a benefit of money gaining
Generally the debuffs won't affect you much
basically my thoughts
the main use for this wouldnt be mid-blind, itd be in sho
shop*
you can basically get packs for betwen 2$ to GAINING 3$~
while deckfixing, while looking for jokers to replace this and the other joker it destroys
What if for each card sold the next blind size increases by 10%
so far this is my best idea to fix it, since this is worse than a death but easily spammable, and can be sold at your liesure
that'd be interesting actually
You can sell as much as you want but you may not be able to beat the next blind no matter how many royal flushes you play
I think that might just work
Untitled Joker
free deck fixing?
Well it's not very free
im assuming that the sell popup appears under a card when selecting it, at any moment, and standard i guess means no seal/enhancement/edition
No, I think a seal or enhancement would just add 1 to the sell value
The popup would appear under any selection though
then it's not standard cards, is playing cards
and this is a cryptid-like joker tbh
Then why do enhanced and sealed standard cards come in standard packs
the standard pack contains playing cards
base edition jokers or tarots could also be considered "standard" in a way
standard, playing, same difference
🙏
standard = unenhanced
playing = the ones in the deck
I think those words were loosely placed and the definitions are up for discussion
But that really doesn't matter
Because when standard is said, people know what's being talked about
no?
what? this is bad, free deckfixing
and even if the blind went up by 10%
well first of all is it arithmetic or geometric (i might be using the wrong terms)
and even if it was geometric, this is a WAY better trading card
like you dont have to sell 5 cards every time
you can only sell 2 per blind and its already way better than a trading card
Thoughts?
It's exponential
Then should the % increase?
i mean the blind would be x1.21 if its exponential and not x1.2 if 2 cards are sold
which is not that much
and if 5 cards are sold its only x1.61051
which is like a small blind to big blind
and with that much deck fixing, anothe big blind would be trivial
What no
If you sold 2 cards after the 2nd blind of ante one the boss would be at 726 instead of 600
yes
Nevermind
