#Blue Stake Rework idea

this is probably even more brutal(imagine losing 2 bucks for 3 rounds even though you're still developing your deck)
Losing $2 is nothing lol
This is a light tap on the shoulder compared to red stake
$4 is nothing
This is an issue
And in endless that’s completely negligible
what if you lost money like (ante / 4) * 4
wait that's just losing the same money as the ante number
Also isn't (ante / 4) * 2 just (ante / 2) since it only triggers every 4th ante
If you want something that actually matters then drop the interest cap by $1 or $2
Wouldn’t hurt you early game either which is crucial
I think it'd be more interesting as "Every 3rd boss blind defeated lowers interest cap by 1"
Read my mind
No way
wait what if
I was originally thinking boss blinds give less money but that makes ante 2 a fair bit harder
1 in 6 chance to NOT get any interest at the end of round
Idk how i feel about more luck based stakes
Black, orange and gold alr gave me a decent fill of "well bad luck completely fucks me over."
Tho tbf
Hm
this is a game using cards
Maybe "if rounds score is more than 2x blind requirenent, earn no interest"
this is literally just kid friendly gambluing my guy
The issue is balancing skill vs luck. I can't outskill a 1/6
I can outskill bad draws by changing what I'm looking for
And i do agree, I just think 1/6 for no interest leaves too little room to work around
Lower interest cap is interesting since you can actually plan around it, you can’t plan around missing a 1/6 constantly
Now, this is interesting. Idk if it'd be applicable in many cases, but its avoidable AND doesn't punish early game
I like this alot more than the other 2
Can I ask what you have against just a simple -$1 interest cap, I don’t think it needs a complex fix
Also because of the way it’s phrased, seed money actually gets a tiny buff since it sets it to $10
I’m talking about my rework
your rework is booooooooooooooooriiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing
I dislike the negative interest cap since it doesn’t really change how you play much since you usually wanna hover around $25-$30 anyways
Black deck basically negates eternals imo
1 extra joker slot means you can take a stinky eternal early on and not really be punished for it
The difference between 4 open slots and 5 is major
Green deck negates two vouchers
So like
It negating one stake is a non-issue to me
Same, green deck is already lame
Re-invited to my birthday party
negating a stake basically means
Also there’s the argument that current blue stake hurts green deck harder than the others
if you can beat the previous stake you can beat this one too
Not even an argument, it's factually true
Outside of black deck maybe due to it already being in a meh situation hand wise
Eveb then, that's meant to be the hardest deck
Or atleadt is
every boss blind is half of a needle
And has ended up such a way
Yup, good thing my econ isn't complete fucked over like green deck, AND I get an additional Joker slot
hamd*
