#Make the back of Stencil Joker (when it's flipped over and such) have a hole in it

Having a Joker Stencil easily distinguishable from other flipped over jokers by the Amber Acorn is a great idea.
Itd literaly not effect the balance at all so it would be great
Definetly agree with this and honestly, why is this not in the game already considering all of the other jokers with weird sizes and properties already do thhis
Would Chad and Loyalty Card also be affected?
I've actually looked into this before, and there are a bunch of cards that ostensibly could have altered card backs when flipped
here they all are! the green parts are to show which parts of the card are different from a normal card outline
only square, photo, wee, and half joker are actually changed in game rn
another notable mention are the translucent jokers, namely invisible and glass joker. not sure what would happen with those guys
Translucent card backs
while we're at it hanging chad should get a hole when flipped too
first row
huh. i dont think i EVER NOTICED that riff raff has sharper corners than the average joker
i dunno if i'd go that far with this since like
amber acorn is already a massive joke anyways but i think giving stencil its big joker shaped hole would be funny
I think that if they WERE to do this, it would make the ONE boss that flips jokers (Amber Acorn) wayy too easy as there are some jokers that are just immune to the effect. Obviously, there are a few jokers which are affected already, so it’s kinda in a middle-ground state.
I think it’s more of a gameplay thing rather than a visual thing ykwim
yeah I wouldn't do all of these for sure, I just didn't want to miss bases when I was making the picture
I think the ones that have intentional holes punched out in them make sense, like stencil chad and loyalty card, and maybe burnt
Obviously, Amber Acorn is easy for the most part (as is) so it’d probably be fine but it’s just my personal opinion lol
I mean it's certainly not necessary, acorn isn't even a boss blind on the lowest game speed
Lmao I love how many ways there are to circumvent that one specific boss blind just in game settings/mechanics
yeah they're just a few cards that are not quite playing card shaped, but rather piece of paper shaped
also it took until me making that image to realize business card is thinner
tbh: implement this, but demote amber acorn to a regular blind and replace it with a stronger blind from the regular blind pool (like The Hook or The Flint)
The flint would def fit as a finisher
I feel like the finisher bosses have something unique about them, interacting with jokers or cards (in a non-debuffing way).
Verdant Leaf with selling jokers, Acorn with flipping jokers, bell with selecting cards, heart with debuffing jokers, and vessel is just vessel
I do think flint of all boss blinds has the most unique/power balance out of the normal ones, although to be translated to a finisher it should be buffed more
I dunno flint feels harder generally than heart acorn and bell
Flint would just be an easier vessel, then
It's not about being hard I think
Its about being a unique challenge
Vv IS a unique challenge
VV is unique since it requires actually maxing your score, which can be difficult sometimes (especially with pairs)
