I think that’s pretty much what is being said, but having those similarities in dna doesn’t really prove anything than that they had some kind of common ancestor

So I think they evolved from them somehow, but since it’s framed as a secret discovery, cats themselves are probably long gone

If you want to keep the Xmult you need a condition to reach that isn't automatic, rarely is Xmult scaled without caveats

Maybe something like two different face cards in played poker hand would be closer to justifying it
Now you can't just play a pair, you need at least a two pair to make use of this joker and both need to be different face cards

It invalidates scaling with already incredible hands like Flush Five and enables less intrinsically powerful hands like straights, Full House, Flush House

Pareidolia makes it a lot easier to scale which I think is fair given how strong other pareidolia synergies are

I would still decrease the amount to .15 or .2 since the ball can get rolling quick (hehe)

Then again you could also not listen to me idc, designing jokers is fun
