not exactly, if it is applied before other jokers on an upgraded planet card it could have great use-> giving you a really high base mult before other X multipliers are added

The interactions you worry about with xmult is making sure as much of the flat mult is in as possible before the xmult.

honestly, i just think having a snag joker that does smth really weird but also kinda strong in the right hands would be cool

well it doesn't have to be about swapping mult and chips, it could just be something weird
i had this other idea about it giving you a special card in your deck that acts sorta like a stone card but it multiplies your mult by a lot but gets removed from your deck when scored and only comes back after defeating the blind
still weird, but more practically strong i'd say, what do you think?
I was gonna suggest that it could split the scores 50/50 but then I remembered thats just plasma deck
Maybe it splits the chips with mult like 50x3 but becomes 35x18 or something

i feel like a common thing with balatro jokers is that the reward is somewhat simple to understand and the complexity is in getting it to activate in the most optimal way possible, although i could be wrong since again, i don't have the most knowledge on balatro
like, take the raised fist. The raised fist adds double the value of the lowest card still in your hand when you score to your mult. Most people would normally go for scoring the higher value cards, but with raised fist, you're encouraged to score the lower value cards in order to get the biggest payout from raised fist, or just remove the low value cards from your deck entirely
let's say you choose to focus on using the lower value cards instead of just removing them, then you're joker build might focus on getting the biggest reward out of those low value cards, like getting fibonacci so that twos, threes, and fives add to your mult as well
actually, that gives me an idea

what if snag swapped the value of playing cards
2 = ace
3 = king
4 = queen
5 = jack
6 = 10
7 = 9
8 = 8
9 = 7
10 = 6
jack = 5
queen = 4
king = 3
ace = 2
but the way they interact with other jokers stays the same
so take fibonacci for example. It adds +8 mult everytime you score an ace,2,3,5, or 8
so now scoring a 2 with give you +11 chips and if you have fibonacci then it'd still give you the +8 mult
and there are other jokers that do similar stuff where it activates depending on the number on the card you played
it'd prob be a common/uncommon joker since it definetly isn't the strongest, but it'd have its moments
