Been working on a homestuck balatro resprite mod for a while, its been really fun to do. Idk if anyone in this server really cares about homestuck but i thought i should share it here since I still wanna add more ideas if anyone thinks of anything. Also some input on the sprites and quality and stuff would be nice lol :y

If you want to do a texture replacement, for not playing cards I recommend Malverk

im on mac so in order to launch the game modded i have to run a script located in the game files instead of just pressing play on steam

my problem is collecting file data it seems

i used https://discord.com/channels/1116389027176787968/1332412990997270558 as a base and switched out the files and file names in the code

but each time i try to fix it i get the same error of "failed to collect file data of Atlas crew_8BitDeck_lc"

file structure is the same

I haven't used DeckSkins before myself, but based on this I think the problem might be the atlas path? In the Rain World example, the atlas paths and the image file names are exactly the same, but in yours the atlas paths start with crew_ and the file names don't

Yeah, in this one you have atlas_path = "8BitDeck.png", but in the old one you had atlas_path = "crew_8BitDeck.png", so it was looking for a file that didn't exist

There was a bug with how SMODS handled Deck Skins a long time ago

The template was made to avoid that bug, but ironically it was accepted at the same time the fix to the issue was made

First build coming soon! its gonna have the base deck and joker replacements, plus changes to soul and black hole.
