the game ONLY crashes when im on a discord call and whenever it does it completely bricks my discord, this only happens with balatro and it only effects discord. i'll play a few rounds with 0 issues then suddenly the game starts to stutter then it crashes, no idea what causes it

I got this game yesterday and I'm having the same issue, just replying for visibility. I haven't figured out

I can double check the specifics when I'm home. Broad specs are:
i7-12700k
3090ti
32GB DDR5
Windows 11

No other non essential programs running. Just steam balatro and discord.

It's hard to say if it's occuring during a calculation, it starts to stutter and then crashes within 30 seconds.

Yeah I'm going to dig into it later when I have time, I'll post here if I find a solution.

no mods, havent modified the game files at all

People with the same issue on reddit are saying that playing in windowed mode instead of full screen fixes it. Might be a temporary solution for now. I haven't tested it myself

This same thing happened to me but in my steam deck

for me it just cuts to black for a second then closes
