#Thieves Deck

Would love some feedback :)
My biggest problem is that this really just overencourages high card and pair builds, and the tradeoff of +1 hand over blue deck at the cost of -2 discards is very steep (even if clearance sale helps)
Yeah but other decks do similar things when it comes to encouraging certain builds, not necessarily a negative at all. I think clearance really helps because the lower prices plus extra hands makes it easier to stabilise early on.
Decks are supposed to each slightly change the way you play the game and this deck does just that.
I agree the primary problem is that it's too similar to blue deck
You can also just add discards through jokers and vouchers too. Sit on the idea for a moment.
Also blue deck doesn't remove all your discards, this makes a run far more interesting as you play around that at the start.
oh I also just remembered
how does it work on blue stake
(it's getting changed, but still)
well that wouldn't work if its identical to black stake
Well you said blue stake is being changed
This suggestion would be implemented then also
also no deck wants to favours high card and pairs because they are the most consistent to play due to no need for deckfixing
or regards to handsize
That's your opinion
??
Nothing wrong with one deck favouring easier hands
Just because you pair up your opinion with the facts of the game doesn't make it fact. I play a variety of different builds and I know that high card and pair are more consistent
Doesn't mean it's a bad thing
it is bad when it doesn't encourage variety
Yeah but when you play checkered you do a flush build
and more hands + less discards is very much encouraging lobotomy builds
So what, let people play that way. It's just a deck with a little flavour.
I understand if you personally don't enjoy that, that's fine.
Imo I don't think more encouragement for pair/high card build should be added to the game. Maybe if pair and high card builds were not as strong as they are already then it might be fine, but until then
Clearly this is the loyalty card deck
