A few jokers, and I don't exactly know the guidelines for these but I'm doing it anyway.

The student:

Rarity: common

Swaps mult with chips
(It's a useless joker)
(It's so they LEARN what multiplicative properties are)
(I definitely know them and didn't ever mistake them)

Socrates:

Rarity: rare/legendary

If you have three or more common jokers, then square the chip value
(I'm unsure if this is too overpowered, but legendary, isn't it for mult per cards usually? Idk I just liked the idea)

You could also place it after +chip jokers and before xmult jokers to multiply your chips, which isn’t normally possible

Not when combined with +mult jokers too

By adding to chips, switching to mult, adding to mult, and multiplying mult, you should be able to get a lot more mileage out of them

A lv5 straight with nothing else but squared chips nearly oneshots the finisher blind on gold stake

150^2 * 16 = 360,000

And if we wanna look at plasma deck, a lv1 straight scores 202,500 lol

I get wanting to make a legendary joker strong, but consider that Yorick can reach basically 5x, maybe a little more, across a run. For the base lv1 Pair hand before any cards are scored, this is a 10x innately

Student is a lot better than i think you realize. Running that with chip jokers early allows you to clear blinds pretty reliably(imagine something like student and stuntman coming in, and giving your flush +250 mult)

also student and scholar are too similar in terms of their concept(not gameplay wise, but you know what i mean)

I actually like the idea of student(might shut people up about xchips finally), it just might need a different concept so people don't confuse the two
