You can turn individual elements of a "theme pack" or whatever off in the mod config menu. It's one of those three other orangish undiscovered tarot in that screencap.

I checked my version against the latest and I am very confused. It looked to me like I had a version more up to date than what was on the github. And changing to this version was already my attempt to update to the latest.
Steamodded updated an hour with "1.0.0~BETA-0311a-STEAMODDED" and that's... Okay I'm realising I should not just be focusing on the numbers, but the word alpha and beta. So, I guess I managed to somehow update to an older version than the one the mod comes packaged with. Don't know how that happened. I'm now seeing things are working better already. Like the Noisy edition actually displays what it does now. I believe everything is working as intended.

And I have Seal the Deal "Add a random seal to each card scored on final hand of round"

I got dusk with the same "final hand" wording and that is working with Panopticon

I'm up to date. And I just used debug to test it by adding Panopticon, Dusk, and Seal the Deal. To first make sure Panopticon is triggering, which it IS, because Dusk works. But Seal the Deal completely ignores it's affect. So this bug is looking pretty confirmed.
But one more test... Okay I moved Panopticon from being to the left of the two jokers, to being on the right, and now for some confusing reason it triggered.

Hey, a lot of times whenever I end up with a lot of stacked retriggers in super high-scoring runs, I end up in a situation where after it's done calculating, the cards and jokers just kind of sit there for a while, and shake around. Is there any mod that can prevent that from happening, so that I can actually play double-e runs without having to sit there for an hour for every hand I play with animations off?
There's no Talisman 2 The Sequel To Talisman to fix an oversight in Talisman, no. This is something that needs to be fixed in Talisman.

update on this: I messed around with versions and good news! the game stars now. Bad news! It requires a newer version of steammodded, and somehow the one I have doesn't do its job and using it makes the game not open as modded

Mistake I was making was I was trying to update lovely by putting the version dll in the "appdata/...../mods" folder as opposed to the game's install folder
Hey, getting this crash when trying to score certain cards. No real rhyme or reason to it, doesn't seem to be a pattern, it just eats shit sometimes.
i assume this means i don't have the correct lovely version installed. but when i try to install the latest version it says i don't have permission to move the dll file

Hey yall, there's a few random bugs I get here and there (which I'm sure will just happen from time to time) but the one that continues reocurring is with vouchers. Namely when I use deck of equilibrium, sometimes when I purchase a voucher it will go in the jokers slot and not redeem. Or when I play the deck that gives tier 3 of any voucher when purchased, it just won't give tier 3. Any suggestions or similar issues?

Hello all! I apologize in advance for my quite long question but I am pretty new here. Someone can explain to me the differences between the 3 gamesets of Cryptid (Modest/Mainline/Madness)?
I checked and read a couple of times the Modded Balatro Wiki info about it but it's not quite clear for me. There is "unlocking", "discovery" and "achievements" progression on Modest and Mainline? Which are then the differences between them on gameplay terms? Something is capped?
The wiki says: "players can only select a gameset, largely without any effect". What does that means?
Can I have 2 profiles, one Modest and other Madness?
I know that I am making lot of questions in one, but that's since I don't know the differences between the gamesets, maybe just an explaination or the 'real' gameplay differences will clear all other questions.

the gamesets are still fairly early in development [and are mostly unimplemented as of writing this] but instead of "difficulty", they focus on "complexity"
Looking at the image, you can see that the joker is not as massively overpowered in the Modest Gameset as it is in the Mainline and Madness Gamesets.
If you prefer a more vanilla style of play, go towards Modest. If you are okay with splitting the game in half, go for Madness. for something inbetween, its Mainline
Like i said before, this is still a very new feature [introduced like a month or 2 ago] so a lot of things still need to be implemented, let alone thinking on how to balance some jokers without them completely losing their power
also, every profile can use its own gameset.
You can also make your own gameset by going to the mod config ingame and changing the things you prefer, as well as what jokers [and all else cryptid adds] do and dont show up

That’s a 20x increase, which turns 0.3% into 6%. Significant, but you’ll only really start to see the negatives roll in with good econ.

i'm a little confused as to how to get the redeemed deck to work properly. it gives the extra tiers of the modded vouchers, but something like crystal ball or telescope only redeems itself and nothing else.

Redeemed deck doesn’t redeem locked vouchers
& update steamodded to fix that crash
Disabling animations helps, you can also get mods that skip some of the scoring animations too
But later on you wanna sell off your retrigger jokers once the values on your other jokers get high enough
Transform that canvas and boredom! Get something else like a universaum or scalae.

Hello. I was playing cryptid fine for about an hour but now with Cryptid installed clicking on any playing card instantly crashes the game and doesnt deliver an error message anywhere
everytime i get an error message about steammodded being outdated, I install the latest release and the version number just keeps changing
Why does the rework code card not work on diet cola? I get its to prevent cheap gamebreaks but I mean you can easily work around that... EG Nostalgic Googol Play
Also necromancer can copy jokers without having showman and it can be retriggered by blueprint despite saying incompatible

Got this error after updating lovely, did some digging and it only happens when I have cryptid instaled

i did an antimatter deck run and ended up using the delete card to see and remove every card in the mod, and never saw this
i bought it and turns out it was a playing card, and it made my total card count (#/# below deck) go up but when clicking my deck everything remains unchanged
the suit counts and rank counts add up to 53 but the numbers under the deck say 54
I do not know if Cryptid has changed Showman's functionality, or if this seed is truly the Blueprint god-seed, but, this genuinely was an insane run to play. The shop generally had Blueprints every other reroll, if you took the level 3 voucher skip tag, you'd get 2 dollar rerolls, and grabbing showman around Ante 11 give or take pretty much gave an infinite amount of them. I sold everything besides Blueprint once my computer started chugging and had around 50. I could've kept Tenebris from the Wormhole starter and probably had 70+ of them. Let me know if you give it a try with that seed code.

A sc of a run I had yesterday using the same deck. I had the one exotic joker that creates a random negative copy of another joker, and of course after finding one brainstorm it was a matter of getting one hit on it and the rest was history.

Since having that issue I verified my steam files and deleted my mods folder. Iv started using the Mod Manager #1339375696254074942 and got Cryptid using the library in the mod manager, since then Iv had little to no issues at all with cryptid and other mods.

The amount the number scales by is the amount the degree below {In value, not position in the image} is at.
In other words, with the picture, add the number one above to get the number one below.
Degree 0 is no scaling, Degree 1 is linear, then Quadratic, Cubic, Quartic, and lastly in the image is Quintic {I believe I got all those terms right?}.
No Scaling is just N=1
Linear is N=x
Quadratic is N=(x(x+1))/2!
Cubic is N=(x(x+1)(x+2))/3!
Quadratic is N=(x(x+1)(x+2)(x+3))/4!
etc. You should be able to see the pattern.

Getting an error that's causing crash on startup, only just started now after I set the Talisman option for score limit from the highest one to the middle one:
main.lua:1354: Could not find proper Talisman folder.
Please make sure the folder for Talisman is named exactly "Talisman" and not "Talisman-main" or anything else.

I managed to correct the issue by just reinstalling talisman fresh. The path was correct, really don't know what the issue was.
So Demicolon => Pizza = Pizza Slice Printer. Pizza Slices which add more retriggers to Canvas. Which seems to cause the game to get stuck endlessly creating Pizza Slices. It also kills the framerate and manages to disable the Talisman Abort Button.

i think im having a bug, while using the misprint deck tarots like this still act as normal despite the values showing different

is pointer unable to show up in ccd deck? i haven't been able to get it over a few resets
never got it from that, i only found pointer when playing the deck where all the cards have the same probability of showing up in the shop, or via spectral packs/tarot packs w/ omen globe

I found a bug, if you have the house joker, even if you haven’t played the 114 hands yet, if you hook another joker to it, it will give the ^4 mult, I believe this is unintentional since the 114 hands requirement isn’t met. Not sure if it’s a big deal but I thought I’d give a heads up if it wasn’t known
the design for forcetriggers is "it will always trigger the joker's main effect regardless of any conditions"
it isn't a bug this is just what happens when you add emult to an uncommon joker

Cryptid is under the GPL. However, VanillaRemade is intentionally left unlicensed, so this code cannot be licensed, but that is in violation of the GPL.
I would rather violate Cryptid's code license than violate Balatro's code license, so this code has been left unlicensed.
Cryptid's license has been left as `LICENSE-CRYPTID` at the root of the repository.

The "run" command code card has twice now, since I updated to the latest Cryptid, caused my cards to stop drawing when I resume a game. I beat the blind with the only 3 cards I had left after discarding and then moved onto the next blind where I started with 0 cards and was softlocked.

The previous time I combined Run with Perkeo and grinded the shop for a bunch of booster packs and assumed visiting the shop that many times breaks things. But this was my first time using Run on this new game. I used it right after entering the big blind.
Oh and the Debug Plus info on the top left has the Base event queue flashing between 48, 33, and 21, I think. I've never really paid attention to what it usually says. So maybe that's normal.
I updated Handy and that fixed it.

Had a confusing crash. Just played a 7 card hand, an ascended straight, with only 6 jokers. Nothing wild at all going on. I click play and the cards move to the table and then it crashes.
I then tried playing just 3 sixes and it also crashes. But I'm not doing anything different to the last round, I havent added any jokers. I'm not using the exploit card... Then I played just a pair, not using the 6s, and I also swapped the Blue Joker and Fidget Spinner around. I regret I did two things at once as I don't know which of those things seemed to fix it, but somehow that let me play the hand. I am clueless on what that was all about.
Is there anywhere that lists which effects work with the anti-matter sleeve? I know it's WIP but it's pretty clear that it doesn't work with the Unlimited Sleeve, Misprinted Sleeve (for the best), Redeemed Sleeve, Glowing Sleeve, and I'm not sure it's even working with the Red Sleeve. It seems like the only two I can see it working with are Legendary Sleeve and Wormhole Sleeve.
