I've been playing around with the idea of doing transparent post-patch talisman integration via a Lua ast parser but it's also complicated haha
since it would probably require mod authors to annotate their code with "allow" and "forbid" regions

anyways, i do agree that talisman can be really annoying to work with (and its not even "perfect", it has crashes on its end), but some arguably balanced mods do rely on talisman for some of their features, so i think it would be nice to have your mod more available to a wider range of players

it randomizes the seal, enhancement, suit, and edition between a select handful of each based on the mods that are loaded
this may have not been a feature until i just uploaded those bugfixes 
i do not code elegantly or upload in a reasonable manner
it was predetermined stuff before i set up the randomization
so it was checking for SixSuits to change it to Stars suit, Ortalab to make it a Cosmic Card, and Grab Bag to give it the Fortune Seal
these are all still possible options if those respective mods are installed but i added some others into the mix just as like. idk ones i like the visuals of

It won't have any uniform theme though if that's alright (so like Pokermon, JoyousSpring, and stuff that doesn't look like everything else).
The reason why I say that it won't have a theme by the way is because most of the time my modpacks do.

All you have been asked to do is have a release version that is in line with a stable version of smods, you can absolutely continue working with new features on a dev branch, you can even ask people to play with them, they’re just unlikely to receive any support for issues they encounter other than “play on stable releases”

Idk if you're already aware of this but the adventure seal prints to the logs everytime it's hovered over, not neccisarily a issue on your end but might be worth looking at in case it causes crashes down the line
