I wonder how that'd work, top of my head I thought maybe add a "blueprint" param in SMODS.calculate_context, that'd fetch the joker object's blueprint_compat, but the problem is that sometimes you don't want some context checks in your joker's calculate to be bp compat
it's just prevent bp/bs from calling the calculate if the center isn't blueprint_compat
Alternatively add a check in Card:calculate_joker that returns of context.blueprint and not compat
you'd still have to check for context.blueprint if there's some context that should be blueprintable but not others
maybe there's not enough of a need for that

Why Blueprint stamp does what essentially Showman stamp should do (thematically)?
+Vampire stamp: cards can't just gain 0.25x mult, they need a base of 1x otherwise it would detract from score, no?
Also, scratching off Gros Michel stamp (losing it) should from now on grant you a chance to find Jokers with Cavendish stamp

its just meant to be intuitive that boosting cards means boosting them
not against this but implementation isnt straightforward
also you gain the knowledge that thats how the mechanic works pretty quickly from playing with it; the problem is just that i havent added many things that give perma x(score) so
it might be a while before people really get to play with it in depth
since this mod is still making some semblance of an effort to remain balanced (at or slightly above vanilla power level), perma x(score) probably wont come up tooooo much
aspects are meant to be pretty powerful tho (hence why you have to (try to) kill two Jokers just to get a random one on a hand)
vamp stamp was meant to consume seals off of cards right? probably wouldnt be horribly overpowered giving perma X0.25 mult considering seals are Good and Hard To Get
this is just the newest version of steamodded iirc
i could be wrong but check the version.lua file
I wholeheartedly do not like vamp stamp mechanic there's like only 2 ways to get seals either generate cards with seals via Certificate or find respective Spectral cards (4 out of 18), not to mention that spectral packs are quite rare and has lesser card choice at base
And Illusion voucher unfortunately is bugged and can't generate cards with seals iirc

the loop basically had a counter and when played, a copy would be added to your hand with one less counter

Tho logically both this and previous effect make sense 100% but flavor wise it's a bit of mismatch (imo) - I have no idea how to translate Vamp into stamp and make it work but I have a suggestion to replace it with campfire stamp (if you need a Xmult scaling stamp). Each time you sell a card (or Joker cards only, it's up to you to decide the design) gain x0.25 mult, reset each round

just pushed an update to both mods making AMM have a helper function for destroying random jokers with a player-benefit QoL feature where it prioritizes perishable/rental/perma debuffed (this one might need testing) jokers over those without those effects. it makes no judgement between those with these effects; only choosing among them first. this applies to both Mischief and Quest Bed at the current moment

Special abilities:
1 in 2 each to turn held card into a Bone Card
All bone cards give double mult for each card in your graveyard for this Ante
i think i'd be more likely to set up a Bone Castle
the triggered effect is more joker or even vouchery
im unsure abt the use case here, maybe like 6th sense but thats it
i've since buffed it so they intrinsically gain +2 mult permanently when returning
most of their use case comes with other graveyard support stuff
its maybe a bit of a pre-emptive meta use case
since i havent gone as hard as id like to on GY synergy yet
also worth noting they're balanced at 3-of per-tarot, like Grass and Dirt
and FURTHERMORE *cough*
uh there also might be ways to get random cards in your GY, which if the enhancement isn't specified could mean soulbound cards simply getting created in-GY is also possible

I can't imagine immediately if they're balanced, but they do seem fun
I like jokers that are kind of build arounds
i might adjust underdog's secret if it feels too unrewarding for its threshold, but i think topple the titans is solid (i have tested it more lol)
blind requirement reduction effects always seem strong on paper, but feel a bit lacking in action, if you actually look at the scored numbers...
i feel like a lot of the time i just wind up scoring what i was going to need anyway so it wound up irrelevant lmao

Blind reduced is very easy to use when you have a lot of hands, and compared to X mult, it's fashionable to keep it, which allows you to play a few useless hands to upgrade, and then the final one. 20% may be weak, as there is a maximum of 4 hands: 0.4096 ≈ X2.44141
its seance but makes as many planet cards as you can hold vs 1 spectral card
consider that planets in thac context also include the 6 utility planets and 4-6 suit upgrade planets
so i didnt want to force them to be straight spectrum planets
maybe it could be uncommon- i just set it to rare since its design did start as "weird séance"

I may have abused the joker that gives x3 mult and kills the first three cards in conjunction with the one that gives $2 per killed card

Whittled my deck down to nothing and then didn't pay attention to the boss to realize that... uh... that Sigil literally murdered me in cold blood.
I went from having one playable hand that won every round and gave me a free planet (blue seal) to having NOTHING that scored because the Spectral Card (sigil) turned everything into clubs - the only suit that was debuffed by the next boss.
All 8s, two Star Card 8s, one Mult 8, one Polychrome 8, and my lucky 8 had a blue seal so I never used it for luck, just for scaling.

Counter: it's not that they're shameful, it's that having THAT MANY unlocked hands from the BEGINNING of the round makes planet packs essentially useless. The RNG is NEVER on the player's side. Leaving them completely usable is fine, they should just be secret hands so that the player feels accomplished for finding them.

I like extra hands, though I guess I tend to not use them if they don't scale off of other hand levels (which I guess is most of the time besides vanilla's royal flush)

I'd very much like to encourage that going forward, the mod emphasize aspects more. I basically never saw aspects except once, and I REALLY like the implications of the aspects in the game.
they're meant to be highly powerful but particularly rare or at minimum rather clunky to obtain

A thought on the planets/hands, with slight mention of the suits.
I don't think I ever encountered the new suits in my playthrough of the mod, which consisted of somewhere between 5-10 runs.
I did, however, encounter the new planets. It was overwhelming, and without something like the Telescope voucher, it made finding a desired planet far more difficult than what Balatro was designed around.
I don't mind the new hand types, but I wish they functioned like secret hands, where you couldn't get planets for them until you played that particular hand in your run.
The new hands saved me a couple of times, but I suspect the lack of planets killed me at least as often. No objection to the suit levels or space junk though. While those do muddy the pool, I've found that each of them tend to be a net positive due to being consistent useful independent of whatever hand the run may be focused on.
Tldr: With 28-ish planets, good luck trying to use planets as a significant part of your scoring. Making them secret hands may hurt a little, but it does solve the issue.
