I believe Cryptid is the cause of this? I've heard this one here and there but I have no clue why it happens
well that's fun. Could it be because of there being 2 seperate planets that align to the same hand?

Looking at where the crash is happening, it has to do with... a get_type_color hook???
Genuinely have zero clue why that's crashing things. Might wanna bring it up to the kind folk over in their server about it

The biggest known incompatibility is with the Nuclear deck but otherwise I don’t think I’ve heard of any others

Basically in the main.lua file of the mod, add a -- in front of the key of the object you want to disable, simple as that. I have comments that mark where everything is

The only major changes were Gold/Purple which now activate when the joker its applied to is triggered (cuz you can't play/discard a joker)
Otherwise Blue and Red work as you'd think they would

The correct (and current) version should be 0.6.1-beta, but it seems like you figured it out
I updated the mod and taslisman but I can't find the correct version of smods. I tried downloading the most recent smods release 323b, as well as the most recently updated, 416b but neither work
is it atleast TALISMAN 2.1.0 or exactly TALISMAN 2.1.0
oh and where is the other smods version this requires

It's less a balance or difficulty concern more that I feel like the blind already behaved as intended before you futzed with it

Tbh... I'm not so sure of that. If 5 was the normal play limit but there was still some way to unlock 6 I really think it's at least ad likely it'd still be programmed as it is in vanillia

My reasoning for that line of thought is because a bunch of other things are coded that way too, like flushes and straights
You're never gonna go over 5 in vanilla, yet it's coded as >= 5 or <= 5 all the same

No actually, they’re changes to the vanilla code of scaling jokers that make it work
Playing with Cryptid tends to break things with Maximus
That mod tends to be very hostile to other mods due to the changes it makes to vanilla code
Forget what I said above, I know the actual reason for this. The current released version of Maximus is built on an old version of SMODs and thus the inject for Faded probably doesn't work on more recent versions. Just wait for the next update for this to be fixed
why am i unable to play a 6 card hand on the sixth finger deck? it shows the proper hand name but the "play hand" button is disabled
The most recent Steamodded update from yesterday broke the method I use of allowing that. This is fixed in the next update

They do their effect on card Trigger when on a Joker
