The buffer. This will “disable” a selected joker. What this means is that the joker’s effect won’t activate. It might sound bad, but that means you won’t waste turn on stuff a. With a lifespan (ie seltzer), and b. You won’t risk certain cards breaking (ie banana). It costs 3$ per round per card disabled. Reactivating the card takes 5$

If I buy a joker, I usually want its effect.

If I worry about banana breaking, then that means I probably want banana to actually score with

It should be noted Tarots are a real collection of cards and you can’t just “add” another one traditionally.

there's like 0 reason why this would be useful

Tbf they gave several reasons why it'd be useful 😭

#

This just sounds like it wouldn't work as a tarot

#

Maybe a joker for certain builds

#

Something like "Debuffs the joker to the right of this"

#

That way it's useful for certain builds and it can also be used in a challenge

things with a lifespan, that's a very very small niche usecase in which, you buy something like that, don't need it yet, but are going to need it later

#

it obviously shouldn't cost money

Sometimes I just don't want my Seltzer jumping in when I'm about to drop a mean royal flush and the mult preview is already on fire like "and I'm doing my part 🤓☝️"

The thing about niche jokers/tarots/whatevers is that it's not good enough for them to not be useless. I don't get to pick my joker. Whenever I'm seeing a joker, I'm not seeing another one. Therefore, If you make a joker that's good 1% of the time(not even that good, mind you), 99% of the time, It takes up space that I could see something useful.

This. A Joker should only be bad in a slot if it will eventually pay off big

#

Like invisible joker

#

Its literally useless but it's payoff os worthwhile, almost any/all Jokers wouldn't benefit from this in the long term, especially at a cost of money
