changing q4 sprites is later down the line for me honestly on my list of priorities

i had like a few ideas in my head but nothing was as good as "take the card from the icon online, shrink it to pixel size, and then add the angel wings from isaac onto them

then i found the afterbirth+ gradient and used that one
and added a backdrop
ngl it looks REALLY fucking nice in my server directory

also @hollow jewel to be fair, since they are adding INTERNAL ITEM DESCRIPTIONS to isaac with the next rep+ update, i'll do you a favor and under the text that says whatever stake you won with a joker card it'll add a description of what it does
i just got rid of them honestly because i thought it'd be more fun to discover what the cards do instead of knowing immediately

I've updated this mod and the repository to be more readable, which includes new logo and a more comprehensive readme with a download link. Releases are not going to be available until much further along in the development (~15-20 jokers that have been fully tested and completed)

- Added global probabilities to ED6 and IV Bag, which are influenced by Oops All 6es
- Added item descriptions for (almost) everything <- I will get to cursed eye later and gfuel is too long to describe LMFAO
- Minor bugfixes and optimizations
- Began work on adding devil/angel deal mechanics in the form of packs
The packs are not in the repo yet because they aren't completed. The art is there, but it's in very early stages.
I am shooting for tomorrow night being the deadline for pack mechanics to be implemented.
That being said, they are going to basically be like if i took the complications behind the code packs from cryptid and put that on meth 💀

Maybe it comes with a downside, but that doesn't feel right
maybe like "takes all the effects of bought jokers for itself" since that makes more sense for rock bottom tbh
that way you can still lose stuff but not the stats
(ie, tainted isaac would lose stats if he gave away match stick, but not if he had rock bottom)
A lot of the stuff added has missing textures for me
or maybe “you can’t score below the highest amount of chips/mult youve scored since you got this joker”
yea not everything has a sprite yet, the missing texture thing is just a placeholder

hello!!! version 3 is out now!
least changes since the last update, but that's ok, since it paved the way for SO many more changes a lot faster
Biggest changes:
- Added devil/angel mechanics (note: there is not currently a way to tell your chance, but tl:dr, after completing your first boss blind, there is a 100% chance for a $14 devil pack (which will include downsides in 0.4a such as perma hand size, hands, and discards down), and if you don't buy it in the shop, there will be a 15% chance for an angel pack on the next shop. Of course, there is only 1 angel item atm, but i'm adding significantly more soon, and this was ASS to program.
- Brimstone, Holy Mantle, A Quarter, and A Lump of Coal have been removed from the standard joker pool and can only be pulled from these new packs, and in the future, from other special exceptions
- Removed the lost deck because i'm fucking lazy. I will be re-implementing it as a stake in the next version.
- Began work on Core Library, which included an ActiveJoker function i made for myself so i don't fucking have to fill up my screen with a bunch of bullshit every time i want to make one
- Fixed the DAY FUCKING 1 visual bug with charge bars, which are now drawn correctly

Hello! i just pushed a major update
This update adds Rock Bottom, a new joker which stores the maximum values of luck, mult, and chips and ensures you can never go below it. It works EXACTLY like how it works in isaac. Do note: i did not finish implementing the money functionality before this push, i will shortly push a hotfix soon.
The installation instructions have changed. We are no longer supported by Steamodded stable, please download the cryptid branch of smods with the old calc, and make sure to install talisman as well.
In addition, this adds:
- Yum Heart, which gives +1 hands for 3 charges (Q1)
- D1, a new dice that can either duplicate a consumable or create a different consumable from the same pool based on the same chance as Isaac.
I am considering changing Yum Heart to be 2 charges, but as a Q1 item, i feel like having a mild payoff for a shitty charge rate checks out.
