I don’t like this for the same reason I don’t like Matador - it’s really inconsistent when it triggers or doesn’t. This also has a problem with some boss blinds where it’s literally impossible to avoid triggering the boss blind
For the most part this is a completely free 3x that just randomly goes away with no counter play
The impossible boss blind bit was intentional, this isn't meant to be a joker that you carry with you into ante 10, it's just meant to be an early game push to keep you going 🤷♂️
Thing is 3x is more than just an early game push, that’s about as strong as x mult jokers get. And this isn’t something that you ditch right away since you can easily dodge most boss blind effects, and there’s so few unavoidable ones that it feels really annoying and unfair when it does happen
It’s as if Cavendish had a 1/10 chance to disappear each ante
That's actually valid tbh, I could drop the mult to like 1.5 - 2 or something but I still really like the concept of a joker that's "scared" of the boss blind
Why not make it 2x but decrease by .2 per boss blind triggered :3
Since triggering is often avoidable, and it's lack of clarity no longer immediately punishes you by stripping a huge chunk of scoring
Is this good or do you specifically think it should be only once per blind?
Per use, every boss hlind is avoidable in some way as long as it specifies "hand triggers boss blind"
Does tooth just guarantee a decrease?
