once JOAT is sold or destroyed the joker that had the multiple editions loses every edition but keeps 1 (if it had 3 it would lose 2 at and keep 1,of course the editions are removed randomly)
you lose 5 bucks when this happens for each affected joker (if 4 of my jokers lost editions I lose 20 bucks)

If blueprint or brainstorm is not properly used for JOAT or sold (when blueprint isn't to the left of JOAT or when it's not to the most left for brainstorm) and a round is completed without it returning to it's appropriate positions(in-between rounds you can switch up the positions,it's only when the round ends) ,the jokers that blueprint and brainstorm affected lose every edition except 1 (at random,the highest valued joker doesn't lose any,only the second highest or third highest etc)
and you lose 3 bucks if this happens for each affected joker(if 4 of my jokers lost the editions because of blueprint or brainstorm,then I lose 12 bucks)
