#3 new jonklers

I really like Clover, though I think it could use a tweak. I'd do quadrupled(good enough for anything aside from lucky $20's) for 3 rounds
Student ID is interesting too, though i don't think it's strong enough to the point where it's 1/4. just a standard 1/2 would be fair
4 leaf clover is insane with luckies
Fisherman is a neat idea, but it's nowhere near powerful enough, and I can't think of a way to make it feel good to use without making it something else entirely
I was originally going to make it 1/3 because of things like walkie talkie and hack
1/2 is strong IMO because it states "all"
There is a 50/50 on this just being an all rank hack
Atleast that's how I interpret this
50/50 per card would be fair
Twice as strong as hack, takes up twice the joker spots. Seems fair to me
Acc
Joker spots wym?
Oops
50/50 for all 10s, 9s, etc makes it better than hack as it can retrigger a full straight
In that regard it is immediately not just "twice as strong as hack"
It has twice the potential and a higher scoring limit
Yeah, but it requires oops to get full use out of, which you aren’t guaranteed to find and doesn’t play well with glass
I had a similar idea awhile ago, 1/2 for every card, a total of 24 times
Again, are we discussing 1/2 for all cards this hand, or a seperate 1/2 per card (what i read it as initially)
I imagined the latter, but either way it would play a lot like bloodstone
I’m agreeing, sorry if it sounded like I wasn’t
It's called discussing 🤓☝️
Balatro is a delicately balanced game, these discussions help make better Joker suggestions or sum
Honestly, if it was 1/2, it would be feel better to use than bloodstone. Less triggers are less likely to kill your run than less bloodstone
Inherently less potent than bloodstone tho
True, though I can’t help but wish there was a “trial” mod, that took the best of these suggestions and implemented them
Bloodstone can be a wonderful midgame card if you pick up an early lusty
Tbf, I'm working on a personal project (I have made exactly one basic Joker for +1 chip if hand is flush house)
All my suggestions are just workshopping my ideas real time, peer review:D
I love bloodstone, it just sometimes feels like it doesn’t love me back
Yeahhh, its hard if you're trying to make a bloodstone run happen when you find it
Again, in ante 1/2, I pick up Lusty if I see it
And even if you get it all working, the flag comes
It's the problem with such centered strong builds
Bosses are to be somewhat expected, if you don't have a reroll you gotta keep options open
This is balanced as is, but it's weaker than bloodstone easily
Depending on rarity, 1/2 per card is really solid
Even if excluding K-Q
Also my idea for this was basically if you had to sacrifice a joker to make room for another or you accidentally sold something you didn't want to, you could bring it back
It would be situational at best but could help rebuild previous strats
