combining hands and discards

I just thought of this while playing, but it would be cool to see a deck/joker that combines your hands and discards to a single value that goes down with each discard/hand played. Even seeing this as a challenge would be cool aswell

So my first thought is, how does this interact with Burglar, and also Hand Income

Also due to Discards being the same limit as hands, this would just be Burglar as a challenge

Spamming "play" because a high card is always better than a no-card

the only time this comes into effect is discard synergies, though I'm not sure if that's enough to carry a deck

Even then, discarding and playing are considered seperate as is

So only really applies to Delayed Grat.

I think it's fine if it's easier, it just doesn't change things up enough. hands are just discards that score

For a Joker it changes to little

For a challenge it's too easy

Like the thought process, but hands and discards are too similar to make this work(referring to op)

This is just better Burglar

It'd be an interesting change to Burglar tho

Just not as it's own independent Joker

I think Burglar is in a good spot right now. Definite downsides, but usually a net positive and forces a unique playstyle.
