Creating a sort of Guide for new modders. I see a lot of questions about formatting, how to use git, how to create mods, if they should use steamodded, etc. So in this Repo I, and maybe some other people too, will try to answer all these questions.

Currently there is a style Guide, and git Guide created by me.

I can't wait to ignore half the style guide

A style guide seems odd for this situation

I mean I imagine you try to keep the style like balatro's but also its my project I'll style it how I like

Yeah that’s what I mean. Unless you’re collaborating (where you can the agree on styling) there’s no reason to follow base styling, which also isn’t consistent 🙃

#

The git guide will be useful for some people though

I've recieved MANY dms about how to style their code, how to do this, how to do that, etc.

#

This repo is for new devs entering the modding scene.

I hadn't realised that the intended audience was for people who were brand new developers
