#Ectoplasm hitting disabled joker (e.g. Crimson heart) removes a joker slot

Do you lose a jokerslot afterwards?
yes
Just happened to me on my perishable joker
Bump
I feel like this is very important, and a huge oversight
All other editions on perishable jokers are disabled when they expire. Why should negative be any different? The issue here is that the crimson heart debuff no longer applies to the joker after the boss blind is defeated. Perishable jokers are permanently debuffed.
yeah but you lose the slot when you sell the debuffed negative
its not just perishables
Crimson heart-debuffed ones are also affected
this IS an oversight and you can't argue otherwise
Also false, a slot obtained via negative obtained prior to debuff stays active
You do not lose the joker slot upon perish, so your point does not make any sense and is just flat out invalid
@ruby brook Also for whenever you see this, you might want to change the title of the thread to something along the lines of "Ectoplasm hitting debuffed joker removes joker slot"
I’m sorry, I was unaware that selling a debuffed negative perishable decreases the joker slots.
You're fine, that was unclear
Negatives are an exception to debuff rules in every other situation so I feel like it's something important to be fixed by 1.1, ( i legit had 4 joker slots on yellow deck) 😭
I was aware that ecto-ing a debuffed joker doesn’t increase joker slots. I had never personally seen a reason to use ecto when a perishable was in my joker slots, though I have seen I done before. And even then, selling it would be useless unless it was rental.
I mean either way works, but sure
