mods folder not found, and the pack doesn't exist

The manager will download the packs folder directly into the same directory, so I assume you moved it?

If you want to put everything in one place, don't put them in Mods folder
And Cruel pack (or any other packs folder you want) should be where it was originally

Can I get some more feedbacks on how the manager user experience feels like?
This is my first time modding Balatro at all. It was really easy to setup. Windows didn't like the .bat file at first but I made it get over that. Since this is my first modding experience, I only have the vanilla experience to compare to, and while the sheer amount of content added is a little overwhelming, I'm the kind of person that loves spending more time modding and going through menus and settings than actually playing the damn game lol.

About to try a run and just experience what's new. The amount of jokers going from 150 to 1053 is nuts. Been actively playing Balatro for about 40 hours in all. Up to gold stakes on some decks and I've discovered every joker and item except Perkeo who still is too shy to show up I guess.
A lot of the mod choices for the pack are mods I'm glad exist. Great picks. I've been itching for an enhanced experience that doesn't deviate too far from vanilla. I constantly talk to my wife while playing about what I would add to the game if I could code better.

but if you have scoring animations on i doubt the animations would ever be shorter than the calculations

might be a dumb question, but what mod kets you "hide" jokers. I hidden one by accident and just wanted to know if its really hidden from the spawn pool
One thing that can bug a little bit is when updating or installing a pack, if I switch to a different window on another monitor, the completion/confirmation popup will appear on that second monitor, underneath the newly selected window rather than where the manager is.
Overall, the manager is very clean and easy to understand, though all the documentation for the new/changed pack names hasn't really caught up yet.

I think that it tried to display a card and that's what caused the crash

Yep, same thing. I deleted the entire folder the mod manager was in. I downloaded the mod manager again and opened it up. Selected "elbes-Modpack", clicked Download, waited a bit, then error. Same with using the git clone command.
Maybe don't add it as submodule, just add the files?
I did add it as submodule originally, but I feel sus about it and checked the link, it also 404 on me

bc i downloaded the modpack like around the time u updated it so idk if it was before or after
not entirely sure what the conditions that led to that one but I put a safety check in place to hopefully prevent that from happening
so uh is this supposed to happen, a minute ago it was fine but when i booted up the game again it crashed
looks like I messed up updating the circus repository so it was trying to do both the new and old. I think it should be good now.
something weird is going on with ortalab patches
Im having some problems with the modpack, the console just spits this out then freezes. Its a fresh install of the game (ive had the game installed and modded on this machine some months ago, although not with the modpack), and im trying to get the Full Pack ver. 2024-12-25b. Ive tried applying the latest version of lovely and steamodded both manually and with the manager, it however is still stuck.
Can you uninstall it first?
Okay, uninstalled Balatro, deleted all gamefiles, including the mods, then installed everything again with my antivirus off and the folders for Balatro and the mods excluded. However i got the same result.

I personally have crashes when I start a new run in the same session and when I have the censored lobcorp thing (nothing there) and I moused over a mod's skip bonus it also crashed

womp womp also with the same set of mods the game crashes sometimes when I have the joker that duplicates the first used consumable and use a spectral (it was typhoon)
yeah it change, but sometimes the suit change again to green n purple when i restart game
i dont mind with the color, but it looks weird when use another face card mode except default, the color dont fit well
only shows up if your calculation takes longer than 0.05 seconds

With 150 mods and a slow-ish CPU you might be able to always have your calculation take 0.05 seconds
Reinstalled the modpack, the game, the mod loader tried with new or reset profile or everything unlocked, always quietly quits to desktop whenever i want to start a run, no error messages
Does the fusion jokers crash the game for anyone else? I'm trying to fuse an eternal hiker and an eternal dusk and it crashes every time.

its kinda a shame. something added in an update within the last day causes lag for my rig. Now i get stuck with the calcuation screens for basic plays not even with jokers
mustve been a mod that doesnt play nice, without mods the game runs buttery smooth even the fine tuned pack works smoothly

and I'm only using Fine-Tuned + Cryptid
There’s something that’s killing tags then if you’re crashing in that line
I forgot, I'll need to replicate these. But one time it was the joker that duplicates the first used consummable of the round
this one happened when I opened a Film Pack and tried to search for "Fusion" in Too Many Jokers (and hovering on one)
heya i just installed a modpack through the launcher and when i click play none of the mods load. everything is in the correct folder
ok idk why but moving a version of steam modded in, launching to a crash and the removing it fixed it
try run the game via steam, if it works restart the pc and see if it's fixed

Custom Playing cards (aka Collector's Cards) should work more well with other mods now.
I update with the modpack manager every time I go play, so it's updated as far as I know

The actual culprit is Mystery Portal which randomly creates and calculates other vanilla jokers
Some of these values are not set yet (because they're done on Card:update)
Flower Pot update did fix this as reverting the fix is how I got it to crash
No but seriously what about Fine-Tuned pack makes my framerate go from 144 to 60 on the main menu.

which became obselete after a steamodded update a few months ago

Hey im having some trouble with the mod manager, ive got the pack I wanted downloaded, but when I hit "Install (copy)" it gives me a list of things to select and unselect, but no way to confirm or save my changes. Just stuck in that tab till I exit out

My internet is not stellar, but I'm getting issues of X bytes still expected, early EOF, RPC Failed Curl 98.
The Mods that have the issue are jellyMod, JokerDisplay, Pokermon and LobotomyCorp
a lot of it is coding stuff I don't understand.

FYI i noticed wild cards are broken, specifically any wild card created using pokermons
trying to use the mod manager because the bash files absolutely will not update a handful of mods no matter how much I try and run into this
I moved my install to C drive for now, to try and get this thing to work
Remove the modification trance and translate the game into English
Then return the modification.
Modification does not support languages other than English as far as I know
You probably installed the pack before you updated the game directory in the settings-- happened to me before
Just move the modpack.exe into a new folder, set the directory to your balatro steam directory in your D: drive, then just save it after without pressing set/create under profile
that should fix your issue

While using the Vanilla Plus pack, it wont let me use consumables until exiting then continuing my run, it happens multiple times per run

zodiac flush 5 duplicates and extends virtual card links, making you able to play increasingly more cards at once

Usually I download the updated .exe for the modpack manager through your git whenever there is a new release. What I meant was an option to update to the latest release on the gui itself

That part of code only ran when Cryptid is active, and it injects new bits of code into The Hammer blind (which is a blind from Cryptid)
