uite frankly i dont even understand whats happening on a turn enough to fine tune my score at all
all i know is yorick triggers like 4 times at x29 and so does the astral card
so i updated my install of the pack (cleaned out the mods folder) and...crash on load?

Then do a clean setup
Delete whole Dimserenes-Modpack folder
It's in C:/Users/<your user name>
And then run setup again
Also I think my setup.bat and update.bat can have some improvement

At all
Most of the blinds will not function as intended
The Jaw, Obscure Overshoot, The Steal, Daring Group, The Mist, and The Puzzle have patches in here that are not showing up in the lovely dump
This mod needs removed for more reasons than an unwinnable blind
All of blinds mentioned here can still be beaten but will have no mechanics to them.

The fix I did was deleting the repo and adding the 1.0 version as just a folder so the lovely patch loads properly

@silver oriole sorry for second ping but Cruel Blinds only works if you have it in the root of your fork, i.e not in a second folder. You wanna just have the Cruel Blinds files (i.e lovely.toml and the assets) like this because the lovely patch won't load otherwise

Card Sleeves is an additional modifier you can apply onto decks it's a mod on Github
basically it has all vanilla decks as sleeves

I think I got a weird bug, I opened a jumbo celestial pack but it shows "voucher pack" at the bottom
so, you need to use one of the voucher packs from betmma, and it changes the background
and the background stays changed permanantly, and crashes upon a new game
when I go to main menu are resume it crashed

Ok, removed mods, started Balatro. Played 1 round red deck white stake, all good. Exit. Removed 1/save.jkr. Copied freshly updated mods. Now error is gone, was able to play 1 round of red deck white stake.

for the deck creator mod, the custom decks all have a weird interaction where they jiggle at the end of the round. that mod has pretty much been abandoned by the creator at this point so I was wondering if anyone here knew how to stop this

Or we can make those into "expansions" (by all means, they should not occupy those 60 mod slots) - Since we have a 60 limit (even if not strictly,) should mods be rotated and let new mods in? If so, what should be the rule behind rotations?

Okay, I think the main(full)(extreme) modpack should be welcoming and include as many mods as possible (but still remain a reasonable amount, by now it's 60)
And Fine-tuned, it can have a rotation rule to rotate out old and welcome new (which needs a vote on what to rotate)

And if possible I will do challenge and deck expansions but these aren't my priorities

Wanted to say thanks by the way, this mod pack existing made it way easier for me to switch from my old 0.9.8 setup. Admittedly I ended up stripping out a lot of stuff though (I wanted to have about a 50/50 split of new modded stuff to vanilla content)
The pack in it's heart is meant to make ppl's like easier. If you want something, you add them (but we don't take the responsibility of things breaking); if you don't want something, just strip them.
I actually managed to wedge Morefluff in by stripping out it's entire colour system (or at least all the bits that would make them appear in runs, there's still an empty colour UI in the collection)
I guess that will do, and there's no other stuff breaking?

And now I've encountered something completely different. I crashed without any log. Game just closes. And when select Continue on restart same happens. No logs. Game just closes itself.

Oh no I'd be happy to, it's just not on github or anything. I made all the edits in notepad and also trimmed out a bunch of other stuff. I can try and do the same edits so it's available minus the colour packs/cards, but I'd want to check with the actual mod's dev whether they mind a public hosted version that's missing a whole feature they worked hard on. Or if they'd rather provide a version with that cleanly removed by themselves

yeah thats what the ".bat"is for what they provide it does what you normaly would do in cmd
setup.bat does command to download mod then move it to the mod folder location

One of boss blind was you need money for discarding card so i couldn't do it since i had no money on me

Basically think of it as a big database, where tons of values inside all given a unique marker
That marker can be a number or a string
You can access the value attatched to a marker by doing table[marker] or table.marker
You can initialize marker value combos by doing {marker = value}
Technically the marker is actually called the index but thinking of it as a marker is a little easier i think
