The concept is a To-Do List for score, obviously playing on the relation between the planets and the various poker hands. Like the To Do List, you could get a High Card bonanza, or it could get saddled with Straight Flush or Four of a Kind and cost you rounds of scaling. It seems flavorful if you can capitalize on the moments when the "planets align" for you, and it seems interesting to empower playing a variety of hands. - Thanks to Sizzle for the scoring idea.

A small observation is that there's currently no space-themed Joker that gives Chips. If this was a Rare Chips Joker, it would make a nice thematic trio with Supernova (Common +Mult) and Constellation (Uncommon xMult).

Potential unlock condition - "Play Five of a Kind, Flush House, and Flush Five, all in a single run." (Available from start all runs thereafter.)

Though it would be necessary to know about all of the secret hands in advance to be able to use it, I don't think it should gain Chips for hands that haven't been discovered on the same run, just so that the numbers the user can see in the display match the amount of Chips the Joker is getting.

That seems like it would be super weak, right? You'd have to use 41 planets to reach a measly +50 chips.
Unless you mean that it would gain that number of chips permanently, like, +9 chips per hand, then 1 extra for every planet. That sounds pretty strong but I think it might be too complex.

Just giving some number of chips (9 would be thematic) per planet card used could work, but then I think it's kinda uninteresting. The hand variety makes it stand out. Although I guess there's different standards if it were to be a Rare vs. a lesser type.

Actually, when you phrase it like this, it seems simple.
This could work. Rare seems appropriate IMO, since even if you don't get it early, the scaling rate increases when you have higher leveled hands, which is fairly unique. But I'll admit that I'm not an expert on the game's balance.

I think it would pop off sometimes but not be good enough to be an instant pick in all runs

You need a fair bit of levels in hands and then need to actually roll the hands you want to/can play

Yeah I think it's solid. It might scale really fast, but not always. Just Chips probably won't make the cut for Endless, but that's fine. Definitely has potential for Ante 8.

I wouldn't include the secret hands until you play them, as they do start at level 1 too
