Early negative Perkeo with many copy cards to follow. I routed a run with 3xBlueprint and 5xBrainstorm, Polychrome Steel Red Seal Kings, Baron/Mime. Still had 191 cryptids left in Ante 39. Routing and Analysis in thread.
Possible high score seed as Sixth Sense shows up in a reachable position in Ante 6.

Nah, sometimes the RNG changes between runs, you just need to immolate hands without killing kings.

Could have gone off screen if I used more Cryptids in Ante 38 ~ I'll tell ya, between Ante 35-39 is gruelingly slow, even skipping all blinds, but i figured I had to play it all out.

Had 110 cards in Hand for Ante 39 and took
22 minutes to resolve

About to try out a 360 hand size, using up the rest of the cryptids, but can't guarantee i wont pass out before this resolves, Ill have to screen record to get a time.

Wanted to lose the game so deleted my Baron & Mime, played a flush five, and the game crashed. This seed is hella fun though

You might have missed a perkeo copy for bp or bs

If it helps, in ante 2 you may sell the instructed hexes before playing the blind to get extra interest

Just remember to follow the directions as closely as you can because perkeo is picky with its copies

yes thats a real challenge for me becoz thanks to you I just realized that following blindly the instructions is not enough as all is not mentionned. And i know I still have a lot to learn on jokers as all is not obvious to me as you just highlighted to me

Ok, I guessed I was supposed to do that. Another problem, when I got to I think it was ante 14 I was supposed to turn a polyk into a rspolyk but there wasn't one in my hand.

Not sure I got ur point. If you talk about jokers, just be sure that perkeo is duplicated when you are in shop, and scoring jokers outside shop. So Far Im in Ante 14, I did not get as many as "deja vu" bcoz only cryptid is duplicated... the consequence is that I miss some kings with red seal. Anyway if people around may clue me in , thanks in advance 🙂

Similar thing happened to me on a run

You really need to make sure you are following directions very closely to avoid any possible issues with perkeo

Perkeo is quite picky with consumables

Agree! Then I made this assumption that before exiting any shop, I setup perkeo to maximize the duplication of consumables (And I thought it was implicit). Did I do wrong?

Nope, the consumables Perkeo chooses to dupe are different each run, I think it's something to do with the consumables age? like if you use older consumables and leave newer ones it alters which ones Perkeo dupes. There's no shortage of Cryptids on this run though, so if one round perkeo dupes those instead of Immolates or Temps that you need, just sell the cryptids to give you more odds of the desired dupe next shop.

It's because each copy of a consumable is different

Theoretical scenario incoming
For example if you have a temperance and two negative jupiters, use the left Jupiter and perkeo hits temperance
But if you had used the right Jupiter it hits Jupiter
This is because it hits the left Jupiter, then temperance, then the right Jupiter
So if you use the left Jupiter first it will hit temperance because the temperance comes before the right jupiter, but if you use the right Jupiter then the left Jupiter comes first

Weird explanation but I'm like 80% sure that's how it works

both runs i’ve continued into ante 5 and BOTH have had 2 immolates hit kings, then have not had the PolyK available to turn into steel in ante 5

In case no brainstorm at ante 31 ( yes can happen) you can compensate by adding 3 cryptid for each boss

i did my run last night, tried to do some variations but i think the guide is mostly clean

imo tho, its a little more efficient to keep the gold holo king, use trance to put a blue seal on it, and use it to generate some plutos and money during the time when the deck is only 9 kings large

i was hoping i could be more efficient by using dna in the higher antes to cut down on cryptids being consumed, but the math doesnt work out - having max dupes of brainstorm/blueprint on mime and baron gets the highest score with the fewest cryptids

The runtrhough is really good. Just keep in mind to move around perkeo to max the duplicationof cryptid b4 leaving the shop so u hv also extra money in the end when some jokers do not pop up as expected and u hv to compensate…

dude ive probably messed up this run like 10 times cause i keep having to swap perkeo with other cards to copy

what do you mean in ante 4 'play 2 hc, play 2 hc' I just complete it too quickly

playing with perkeo is the only difficulty do not hesitate to sell some cards to duplicate the right ones. The seed is incredible.
