Debuffed Chaos still gives a free reroll

My best guess is that this is a timing thing on when Chaos got debuffed. Was it this shop?

My theory is that the game applies the free reroll before the debuff, hence the one more free one.

Of course if you have been carrying this guy for a round or more, I have no idea

it’s with jokers that give permanent effects overall that have this issue
