#Deck/Joker Ideas based off of TBOI.

Isaac's Set: Destiny's Deck. Start with the 1st Reroll Voucher and a Negative Copy of the D6. D6 is a new Joker that can be activated once every 3 Blinds rerolls all Jokers NOT in your possession on screen (Shop/Pack), with a 1/2 chance to upgrade its rarity. You unlock the D6 for everyone else after beating it.
Magdalene's Set: Lover's Deck. -1 Discard, but you start with 1 random Suit being entirely Wild Cards, and you start with the negative Yum Heart, which is a new Joker that (used every 2 blinds) will convert 2 selected cards into Wild Cards. Unlock the Yum Heart after beating this Deck.
Cain's Set: Thief's Deck. -1 Hand Size, but gain +2 Hands per round, and start with 2 copies of Paperclips in your consum. slots. Paperclips are an Arcana-like item that make a random item (that has a cost) on screen free. You unlock Paperclips after beating this Deck and can find it like any other Arcana.
Juda's Set: Traitor's Deck. -1 Hand per round AND -1 discard, but have a +20 Mult applied on EVERY hand, and start with a negative copy of the Book of Belial. It can be used once every 3 rounds, and gives a no-questions-asked 2x Mult for that round. You can use it again on the same round as MANY times as you want to add 1x Mult, but it'll cost you (1+times used)$ each time you do so. You unlock the Book of Belial after beating this Deck.

???'s Set: Rotting Deck. Automatically lose 1 random card each round but gain an innate 0.1x Mult whenever any card is destroyed. When completed, will unlock the Rotting Joker, which does the same effect, but scales with every 2 cards destroyed instead.
Eve's Set: Sinner's Deck. Gain 10% less chips with all Hands (except for final hand), but on your final Hand of round, gain 2x Chips Mult and retrigger all "On Last Hand" Jokers. Start with a Negative Eternal version of a new Joker, "Knife's Edge", which makes it so that you automatically trigger "On Last Hand" effects on your next hand after discarding 1 card twice. Unlocks both "Knife's Edge" Joker and the "Bloody Bird" Joker upon completion, which does the same thing as shown previously (minus the debuff, and only 1.5x Chips Mult).
Samson's Set: Warrior's Deck. Gain +5 Chips and +2 Mult for every NON-5 Card hand that you play, and whenever triggering a Boss Blind, gain 0.25x Mult. Unlock the "Battle Band" Joker upon completing this Deck, doing the same Boss Blind effect that was explained before.

Azazel's Deck: Scapegoat's Deck. Overkilling a Blind by over 50% of the required score will grant you a random Spectral card and 0.2x Mult. Beating this deck will unlock the "Brimstone" Joker which has the same effect, but spawns Tarots instead of Spectrals (also, if you use a Sulfur from Codex Arcanum while using either SG'S Deck or Brimstone, automatically triggers it).
Lazarus's Deck: Returner's Deck. Cannot die, but instead, losing a blind will automatically bring you back 1 Ante, and take away ALL of your money. If you die 3 times in a row, you will die for real. Beating this deck will unlock the "Holy Rags" Joker, which will destroy itself and bring you back one Ante upon dying, allowing you a chance to recoup and come back stronger.
Eden's Deck: Randomazzo's Deck. All cards in your starting deck are guaranteed to be applied with a random Enhancement, 25% chance to be applied a random Seal, and 10% chance to be applied a random Edition. Beating this deck will unlock the "Melted Tarot" Joker, which will apply random Enhancements to 5 random cards in your Hand upon being sold, along with 1 random Edition to a random Joker.
Lost's Deck: Sufferer's Deck. All Vouchers are now FREE to take and getting a Tier 1 Voucher will grab the Tier 2 Voucher automatically, but all Blind requirements are increased by 25%. Each Voucher set completed will also increase the ramping by 10%. Beating this Deck will unlock the "Lost Magazine" Spectral card, which will give you a random Tier 1/2 Set of Vouchers but will take away $15 dollars automatically.

i like the last hand thing but it feels like the active item part of eve is missing

bonuses when you're in a dangerous situation is definitely fitting but being able to force yourself into that situation is important to the character imo

maybe something like -Some stat for this hand but +stat on final hand of the round?

yeah i just mean have an active item/joker that does that but takes it even further

currently it doesn't sound like theres any real incentive to play around that instead of playing normally and gaining the benefits if you happen to end up on your last hand

like i'm not gonna throw away my hands for that bonus but on eve i do throw away my hp for her bonuses

Lilith's Deck: Matron's Deck. Hand types no longer give base Chips nor Mult, but you start with a new Eternal Negative Joker called "Incubus" that gives you +10 Chips and +1 Mult for each card played in a hand, scaling until it resets at the end of the round. All other Chip and Mult giving Jokers always give 2x their bonus. Celestial Cards and Packs are automatically banned, and finally, you start with the "Box of Friends" Joker as well, which makes each Chip/Mult giving Joker create a temporary Negative clone of itself on the Boss Blind, automatically disappearing when it's over. Unlock both Incubus and Box of Friends after beating this deck, but Incubus only gives +5 Chips and +1 Mult per card played for ANY other Deck.
Keeper's Deck: Shopper's Deck. Gain +50$, Money Seed, and Money Tree at the beginning, but your Chips are capped at your current Money value, and your Mult is capped at double your current Money value. You also start with a Eternal Negative version of the new "Wooden Nickel" Joker, which gives you a random amount of money (from -5 to 10$) at the start of each Blind. Unlocks the Wooden Nickel Joker after beating this deck.

i think laz would maybe be a little better if it didn't send you a full ante back but instead repeated the ante, not sure how possible that is without intense jank though

for a quick comparison, hieroglyph costs $10 and a permanent -1 hand for your run to go back 1 ante

Apollyon's Deck: Voidhunger's Deck. Start with -1 Hand per round AND -1 Discard, but have a Eternal Negative Joker called the "Bottomless Void", which when used (can be used once per 9 blinds)., will consume ALL currently held Jokers and Consumables, and either copy their effects PERMENANTLY (Joker), or give you a random stat boost (Consumable). Stats boosts can revolve around Hands played, Hands Size, Discards, etc. Will unlock the Bottomless Void (as a Legendary) to find once you complete this Deck.
Forgor's Deck: Tattered Deck. You ONLY start with Face Cards but multiply their amount by 2. Start with a new Rare Eternal Joker called "Flooper", which makes it so that when activated (once per 2 Blinds) the base Chips scored from any card will be added to Mult instead, and vice verca. xMult will be applied to Chips instead, and if you have Brass Cards in your reserve (from JellyMod), will apply xMult from that instead. Unlocks Flooper for everyone to use after competing this Deck.

Oki, Chips are still capped like in that one challenge, but Mult can now go to double your current Money value, is that good?
Also, 😳, I never high-staked before, it gets THAT high?

I guess so, and here's the final 2.
Bethany's Deck: Virtuous Deck. Start the game with an eternal version of the new "Book of Virtues" Joker, which will create a random card of any rank with the new "Wispy" Enhancement on it whenever you leave a shop. This Enhancement counts as ALL Vanilla Enhancements without any downsides (mainly just to alleviate the problem with Stone Card), but if you play it on a non-winning hand, immediately destroys the card and subtracts 5$. Unlocks the Book of Virtues as a Rare Joker to find on other Decks once completed.
Jacob and Esau's Deck: Twin Deck. 2x the number of cards as normal, with the "Jacob" cards appearing as normal, and "Esau" cards appearing as Negative (which is mostly just a cosmetic to differentiate it). Applying an Enhancement, Seal, or Edition onto one version of the card will apply either the inverse or random E/S/E to the opposite version (Bonus to Mult, Gold to Stone, etc). Beating this deck will unlock a new set of Vouchers, relating to this mechanic:
T1: Excited Twins. 5 cards will be randomly copied from your full deck as a "Negative Copy", getting the inverse effects and bonuses of said card depending on what the original had.
T2: Adoption Pair. Pairs of Normal and "Negative Copy" Playing Cards can now be found in Booster Packs and in the shop (if you have the right Voucher for that).

TIsaac's Deck: Broken Deck. -1 Joker and Consumable slot, but EVERY item that shows up (Joker, Consumable, Playing Card, Booster Pack, Voucher, Tag.) will flip between 2 options constantly, locking to one once you buy/take it. Beating this Deck will unlock the Uncommon Joker "GlItChEd JoKeR", which gives a 1 in 4 chance for any appearing item to take (same as above) to flip rapidly between 5 options, locking to one as you take it.
TMagdalene's Deck: Dauntless Deck All cards are converted to Hearts, but any Flush-based hand will gain 25% less Chips/Mult. Whenever a hand that you play doesn't win, randomly multiply the hands Chip amount anywhere between 1.1 to 5x. Unlock the Uncommon Joker "Bear Hugger" when beating this deck, which will multiply your Chip gain amount by 1.5x when your hand DOESN'T win.
TCain's Deck: Hoarder Deck. Trying to buy any Jokers or Playing Cards will cause them to explode into Money and random Negative consumables. Start with an Eternal Negative Rare Joker called "Bag of Crafting", which allows you to deposit consumables and Money to create Jokers and/or Playing Cards, with the result being set depending on what you deposit. Unlock the Bag of Crafting for everyone once beating this Joker.
TJuda's Deck: Deciever Deck. Ante's scale up 50% faster, but you start with 2 Eternal Jokers, Ceremonial Dagger (which you already know what it does), and a new Rare Joker called "Dark Arts". This Joker is activated once every 3 hands and will sacrifice ALL played cards (not scored) and give you 0.1x Mult per sacrificed card, with an extra 0.05 for each Enhancement, Seal, and/or Edition that the card has. Unlock the Dark Arts Joker for beating this Deck.
