Hey I'm not sure if I'm asking in the right place but I'm struggling to install Cryptid. Specifically lovely. I've dragged version.dll into my install folder, tried letting balatro.exe through my firewall, but every time I run balatro it deletes version.dll from the folder. Any tips, or directions for where the appropriate place to ask this question?

but then does take them back when sold or destroyed
so now i have 2 joker slots and 0 shop slots

updated my cryptid after realising my version is incompatible with jens almanac, now i crash as soon as the loading screen ends
I have removed every other mod, and have only the version of Steammoded that came with the download in the mods folder, and I get this screen
re-installed talisman and now i get THIS crash, so that fixed part of the issue
while playing cryptid it's harder to not crash the game than get a high score

Pretty much the same answer, but i believe pretty much any Surreal (Enhancement) Moire (Edition) card if you are playing multiple, any Echo Moire card if you are playing one
Umm...probably King of Hearts, that retrigger enhancement, red or some other modded seal, and the Astral edition (I believe that's the one with the ^Mult).
Unless, of course, Jen's probably adds more of ALL of those, so I'm probably wrong.

I found more errors, when a planet appeared card it crashed and some deck effects dont work like selecting infinite cards and ccd deck

I ran into an issue, in that it'll load the game, but attempting to run it causes it to crash. The mods folder didn't have anything in it other than the files from the Crtyptid mod, though it did make a folder named "lovely".

I added the .dll from the lovely injector into the new lovely folder, and that seemed to do the trick

if this happens, it usually means that one of the dependencies of Cryptid is outdated, so yeah, try updating everything else and see if that fixes it

Just used 243 off by ones to get a pack with every single possible joker just so I could guarantee the ones I wanted
I did find out you can indeed crash your game by clicking "buy and use" of the //:DELETE code card in the shop if you either have the code voucher or you're on the code deck
Update, didn't work, I got like 80 base Jimbos instead of some of the rarer ones
Found out what was causing the issue, I had everything still in the Cryptid-0.5.0-pre-fixed folder. Taking all of the folders out and replacing steammodded fixed it,

bug report: it looks like the glitched edition might cause a memory leak (or additions in general, im unsure cause i never ran into this in vanilla balatro and it only was noticeable with glitched deck)
played to ante 8 with only 15-ish jokers and not many consumables, and the game progressively got laggier and laggier over time without many changes to the deck itself
when i went into endless i had to reboot at least 3 times just to make the game playable again
still unsure but i'd look into it

I did find another crash where if Ceres was disabled via the mod menu it would crash Cryptid itself
I think the problem itself only applied to Jokers that gave mult and some vanilla ones. Like SDM's Space joker spawner worked fine
