Start a play lower than modded stake, and let the game end.
Re-install Cryptid back and enable the modded stake. You should be able to resume.

there isnt a release for steamodded 1.0 yet

fun fact, vanilla balatro will just silently close on you if you try to run it without steam
I know someone else who got the same issue, they had to restart their computer
If you used the injector method you have to use “verify game integrity” (in the game settings in Steam) to remove 0.9.8, sometimes you need to delete the exe file first for it to work
I can send a zip of latest versions of Cryptid, Talisman, and Steamodded 1.0 sometime tonight or tomorrow to make installation a piece of cake

Boy does this mod make some incredibly awesome and broken runs possible. I'm loving the heck out of it. Hammerspace gave me a White Hole playing card, which I can duplicate twice every run thanks to a DNA and a Brainstorm. I'm currently at level 55,000 High Card, which goes 9x each blind.

The funnest bits for me are:
- Every card rarity can appear in the store pool.
- The values on every card are randomized
So you might get an Exotic card in the first shop, that makes negative duplicates of all your jokers. Then you might find another card, that re-triggers every joker ability 15 times.
BUG: white hole will consume your most played hands levels AND COUNT them, example: i have lvl 10 high card and lvl 2 pair, expected result: lvl 13 high card, actual result: lvl 33 high card.
Gonna have to keep updating it if I try to go onto Alpha, and most of the mods that I use aren't updated for 1.0 yet.

Hey, not really a bug fix, but do you think it'd make sense to make that many cards selectable when randomization (either through the Glitched Edition or the Misprint Deck) makes a consumable able to effect more than 5 cards?
i think infinite (and by extension antimatter) was made specifically for that reason
