the "game directory" mentioned in the guide can be accessed by going to steam > library > balatro > browse local files
I just booted balatro again and got blue screened

check integrity on steam or reinstall the game. this can happen if you got duplicated steamodded installs

there should be an option on steam letting you verify the games' integrity to fix the executables problem

for how ive found this one: as i mentioned before i mainly run the game on a device in which lovely wont work so i simply generate dumped files on pc then transfer them to it and do the overwrite. and just now i was manually applying the lovely patch changes to the game bc im away from pc rn, then i found this

since any update is a pain to transfer over
i can take the pain of lovely not working. but thinking about the day when theres over 100 mods to choose from and for each line in the source files there gon be 5 mods trying to modify it gives me chills
