#Ceremonial Dagger does not get multiplier from eternal jokers

do you need the permanently in this? You could say "If possible, removes Joker to the right and add double its..." and it would stay about the same length
I didn't really put thought into that because I preferred for it to be possible to 'leech' off an eternal Joker that way
But if that's a no go, the most concise way would probably be "destroy Joker to the right. If successful, permanently add double its sell value to this Mult"
if doesnt say permanent people will think it doesnt persist between rounds
How's that? (though I still say let the mult increase
)
yeah okay the other jokers I had in mind all use "Gains", thought there would be more that dont use permanently
Maybe it's a better idea in general to remove "permanently" from those effects and add "until round end" or similar to those that do end at the end of the round.
I'm not sure which it is, don't know all the Jokers offhand lol, but basically whichever 'type' is less common, should have the 'extra' wording, and the other can have no descriptor
I think since its out rn and has been like this in the demos its fine
also I rlly dont want another day of going through each joker and fixing all the wording
that was hell
Then just leave the wording and allow the mult to increase

lol
Actually, thinking about it more, I think changing the wording to "destroy Joker to the right to permanently add double its sell value to this Mult" (simply replacing "and" with "to") would do the job well enough
that would imply that the destruction is necessary for the mult addition to occur. thoughts @storm perch ?
Seems good to me
maybe I'll see it in patch notes soon, since that's like a 5 second change in the code
lol
Actually, I have another argument for my original desire (to let it happen), and that is that Madness's mult goes up even when it's not able to do the destroy (either because it's alone or because the only other jokers are eternal).
Madness and Ceremonial Dagger should definitely treat their "do X, and do Y"s the same, for consistency. And I lean toward not nerfing Madness to match how dagger presently works
fair
Do you think it'd be a good idea to delete this and create a new one with more succinct wording?
Could literally just be "Ceremonial Dagger mult gain doesn't happen if destruction fails, even though Madness's does"
