Completionist+ is impossible to get legit at this point, you need 8 wins with all 15 decks, so a total of 120 wins. If you can do that in less than 100 hours and winning every run and having hours of sleep you're superman

okay idk how tough your cruelty run was but from my runs jokerless is harder because its only rng in cruelty theres still skil involved but for jokerless the avg player will just lose if they don't try hard and reset for good seeds

well for example in cruelty you have way more freedom in what you go for since you still have access to jokers even though theres only 3 slots you can still go for semi good jokers and win pretty easily. Jokerless a lot of times if you get the wrong boss you lose if you get bad planet/tarot rng you lose so theres a lot less skill involved in jokerless and way more in cruelty. Because of this the avg player whos doing jokerless for achievement is going to tend to quit way sooner in jokerless then in cruelty. My goal s to make a guide that details what the best strats are for consistent jokerless runs.

I’m not sure if I understand you than. Jokerless is only inconsistent for the last boss (whatever makes your cards disabled), other than that it’s much more constant than cruelty*, since you don’t have randomness element in it with the shop and packs (and tags)
I had like 10 runs on cruelty, but needed 2 for jokerless, it felt much less rerollish

well in the shop you can still get horrid tarots or planets and if your packs arent the right ones than you will prob end up losing, rn I think the problem is that were seeing this in a .1% player perspectives theres like only 3 people including us that I have seen beat jokerless. The avg player isnt as try hard as and probably hasnt played for as many hours as us so for them it would probably be more difficult. Another reason why I want to do this guide is mostly because I want to see how far we can push jokerless. I want to try and get a high score in the 10m range to which I think is possible if you know what to look for and if your really good at the game

Castle can only select suits in your deck, and Rebate can only select ranks in your deck.
What it does is pick a random card in your deck, and then pull the rank/suit of that card.
So if you have more Diamonds, Castle will be Diamonds more often.
And if you have only 10's, then Rebate will be 10 every time and never change.

and it wouldn't really make sense for it not to be a random card from your deck
e.g. imagine you get it on abandoned, and it just keeps dropping on face cards

I think Rebate and Castle being uniformly random across ranks and suits, respectively,
could also be fine. It's not that much different from how it currently works.
Even with Rebate being less good on Abandoned, there are already dedicated Face Card Jokers
which are blanks. And I wouldn't necessarily say Castle is less good on Checkered.
Thunk said Ancient is the way that it is as a nerf, so it doesn't degenerate into Idol.
Making all, or almost all, of your cards the same suit is way easier
than making them all the same suit and rank.
Rebate, Castle, and Ancient feel like they should all behave the same,
one way or the other. Rebate and Castle could be changed to match Ancient,
in which case you could increase the payouts if you feel they're underpowered.
OR Ancient could be changed to match Rebate and Castle,
with a decreased payout of maybe x1.25-x1.4 if the concern is about balance.
