paintbrush always feels good. If you're not already swimming in economy, the merchants just don't feel good. I'd almost feel better if they added extra packs to the shop, raising the cap on them from 2 in the shop to 2. That might be a doubled voucher effect tho

Paint Brush is amazing, I always pick up Paint Brush if I can. Seed Money has its utility, I've picked it up a few times when I'm on a roll money-wise. The other two... they're just not that good. You're almost never just digging for tarots/planets in general, you want specific ones. So increasing the odds of one RNG still leaves you at the mercy of the other RNG. And since jokers are the only cards in the slot that can be polychrome or negative, you're potentially lowering your chances of getting really exciting stuff
