This idea lets you play more than 5 cards, but stone cards cant create 6oaks so it shouldnt break anything

Interesting. 50 chips is always welcome even though 5 cards hands tend to have higher base chip value. It clearly has disminishing returns and you kinda need to have stone cards in a 5 cards build so it's a bit awkward. I'm not sure I would use a joker slot for that in most circumstances.
It has another cool effect though: drawing more cards next turn, may help consistency a bit in base 52 cards deck

its more of if you are doing stone builds, you can still get base hands

also you can play lots and lots of cards if keep drawing stone cards

also you play 1 giant big hand this way
