You sacrifice 9 points from Aces as well as a lot of face sinergies for more points on 11, 12 and 13 as well as more Odd Todd + Even Steven synergies.

it would be cool to have a card that changes face cards into their values rather than just +10 I've thought about that a lot for synergies and I like that it's not taking a joker slot to do it

like how a face card will still look like a face card even if the rank changes to "11"

i dont think one spectral card should affect the entire deck
if it does it becomes basically useless the second time you meet it
imo i think it'll be more fitting if it was a different deck, as you start with a different set of cards

if it is only cards in hand, then it would be:
Convert all alphabetical ranked cards in hand to their corresponding numerical ranks
but that description is really vague, as some people may not know what alphabetical means, or they might not know that a J = 11

I think some people might get the J = 11 part due to Ride the Bus but I see your point
Maybe "Convert all face cards in hand into their corresponding ranks" then have the art show something like Ride the Bus

not everyone knows how everything works (like how some people don't know you can figure out what a face down card is by applying a tarot card then quickly seeing it)
